This week have been an easy week in office.. Whole day was kinda slacky.. Mass OA chat with lk and del.. Haha.. Well, hell week start next week.. Sians.. I hate meeting and minutes writing.. This will be my 5th/8 WITs meeting.. And on 21st august, it will be the last PRIDE meeting I'm organizing.. Tired le.. Preparing to ORD, or in fact, ROD.. Haha..

This week was quite happening too..

Wednesday - Celebrated alex birthday at brewerks.. Actually, I kinda like the place. Though I don't like to drink, but I like the food an the atmosphere.. =)
Thursday - Met up with zr, ber and del for dinner at ikea.. Then we had supper with teng.. Then guess wads next?? Durians!! Haha.. Can't imagine I'm eating 3 times within 4 hours..
Friday - Has supper with my robinsons friend, geradine.. We went for prata after her work.. It has ben ages since we last met.. And yeap, she confirmed I gain weight.. =( We went Henderson to chit chat before sending her home..
Saturday - Wanted to go dinner with my sister and mum at the famous bed noodle store at Chinatown.. It closed at like 4pm, this we had mini-steamboat instead.. Didn't satisfy my craving for bugis steamboat buffet.. Haha.. And yea, I topped up my engine oil.. But the colour mark was wrong.. =(
Sunday - Night Safari!! Ages since I last went there.. Not bad.. Kinda surprised at how close proximity can we be with wildlife.. Take me to the Africa experience! Haha..

Tiring weekend, busy month ahead..

This week is a tiring week, even the weekends are tiring..

Weekdays were busy with secretariats meeting.. And my own meeting got pushed backed.. Quite a number of things to do, and I'm getting tired.. My busy time of the year had arrived.. And it'll last for like a month?? Meetings, competitions, sending team for courses and lots more.. Anyway, 1 more week of slow paced week, before I'll be "fighting fire" everyday.. =(

Not only that, meal break at AFS is also giving problem.. They're obviously attacking us.. They're looking of ways to fault us.. One after another..
- Indent & never consume
- Never indent & consume
- Improper bearing
- Never greet officers
- Bringing fruits outside cookhouse
- Going gym, then consuming food late
And now? They claim their strength increased and we can only consume food after 1230.. Wad double standard nonsense?? >.<

Weekends are pretty busy.. Friday night send my younger sister and friends back home after their HP movie.. Manage to reach home at 2am.. Next day wake up at 10am.. When out at 4pm for BKT, then to Parkway for shopping.. Then supper with zr, ber, irene and ch.. Went to 3 monkeys cafe.. Then send zr to camp, then them back home.. Reachng home at 3 30am.. Then woke up at 10am, set off to serangoon by 11 30am as my mum and sister wanna cut hair.. Wekends also so tiring.. Haiz!!

11 Months

This week is quite a hectic week in office.. Firstly, lots of arguement in office, over such a small matter.. Anyway, it's the principle.. Wads your principle in life?? Selffish one? Caring only for yourself?? Or are you one who take care of your men, and fellow colleagues?? The week ended with a feastful Friday.. Was a new vocab.. Haha.. Morning branch meeting with breakfast.. Nonya kueh and otah.. Then it was lunch in.. Pizza and sushi.. Wad a feast.. Imagine it, everything was finished.. Tsk tsk.. The branch can really eat.. =)

This week also mark the last week Anthony will be in ald.. He had left for US for 10 weeks.. O.o mans.. I'm gonna miss him and his kids.. When he come back, heard his gonna be posted out to the base.. Awww~ Missed him..

Anyway, my parcel managed to reach masia before my cousin flew to uk!! =) I sent quite a number of things over.. Her birthday present, her long wanted vcd, the bottle umbrella, a scarf, 5 boxes of crisp, 5-6 bags of calbee chips, 2 acker of sweets.. Haha.. I think that's about it.. They're excited and happy.. Heard they open the box straight away, upon receiving it.. Haha..

Weekends were packed this time round.. Saturday had lunch with part of the u15.. Sometimes, it's so hard to set a date when all is free.. Would like all to turn up, but there's always someone who have other commitments.. Anyway, I initiated a meetup.. Thanks to woeiling, who's the one organising it.. I wanted to, but i'm too busy.. I will continue to be busy till the end of august.. =(

After lunch, went to jaslyn's 21st birthday party.. This year, met of my clinque of friends are turnin 21.. Especially so during the later half of the year.. Soons, it will be mine.. I guess I won't wan to be in Singapore.. Perhaps overseas somewhere in some countries, where I never been before.. I don't mind aussie again though.. =)

When it comes to my 21, I will be waiting for my time to ROD.. Then, I will be thinking of where will I wan to study, wad do I wan to do.. My interest is in aviation and mathematics.. My uncle say he will flly sponser me with my overseas education, with a super huge T&C.. Haiz.. I wanna consider and nego with him.. My overseas course is really expensive.. =(

These few weeks will be the weeks I got quite alot to do.. In addition, I think I will be going for another medical review with my cardiologist at gleneagles hospital.. Wanna do a check on my heart.. To see if it's good and working well with no leaks.. Anyway, I will also be extracting my wisdom tooth.. 4 at one go.. =( I can't imagine.. Hate it..

Its the dark moment.. Hopefully, I see the light out of the tunnel.. Jus carry on walking.. Don't try too hard, for you'll rub out of stamina.. On a lighter note, it's 11 more months..

Birthdays lining up

Ha, July is the start of the month, where birthday parties are rolling in.. Quite alot of money spent this week.. Petrol, presents, and not forgetting the parcel which I freight over to masia.. =)

Wednesday, I went to SingPost to send the parcel over to masia.. They said it will take 6-8 working days.. I hope it will reach her before she go overseas for her interns.. =) Been praying hard..

Friday, I met up with robinsons friends.. We had dinner and catch up with each other.. =). Wanted to have dinner at Miss Clarity Cafe, but due to the super long queue, we went to Swensens at Suntec instead.. Played arcade.. Great night.. Lesson learnt: Never go to town on Friday Nights..

Saturday was at qizhu's birthday.. Met up with joan, chris, Terence an irene.. Nice time catching up.. We really should meet up more often.. But the amk people always not very friendly de lei.. Haha.. Supper some time next week oki?? =)

Sunday went out with mum and sis.. Went to this cafe at holland village.. Not too bad.. I like the place.. It could be a good night chillup spot.. Price is abit steep, but with the live band, I guess it should be alright.. Haha.. Then went to Alexander village.. Avocado milkshake, durian milkshake.. Haha, we ordered like a total of 7 cups.. Power!! Then tabao dinner..

Boring Weekend

I had a boring weekend this week.. Agh, mum was asking how come I'm so good.. No late supper.. Haha, well!! No one initiate.. Haha..

Friday was halfday.. Went for dental.. Wisdom tooth?? I may need to remove them.. It's not straight.. Food may get stuck between the molar and wisdom.. It may decay.. It have not, but may.. Since it's covered during NS, why not remove it?? I'm scared.. Very afraid..

Saturday, spent half the day doing nothing at home.. Then went to robinsons expo sales.. Then to central.. Slack by the Singapore River, soaking the atmosphere.. Witness the Singapore River Festival and The Impossible Mission.. Jus simply love it.. Before that, saw the Chinnok and the Apache on the first combined reharsal.. The NDP this year looks nice.. I don't mind going to witness it at Marina Bay.. No tickets though.. Haha.. By the river watching the fireworks is equally good.. Perhaps not leaving Singapore this year.. With the H1N1, going on holiday is so stressful.. Not too sure if I can go overseas come year end.. =(

Sunday went back to Central again.. Brought mum there.. Last minute shopping, groceries shopping.. Then back home to pack the parcel.. It's on it's way to malaysia.. Not too sure if they're excited.. Haha.. Mum cooked dinner.. Love the big potato soup.. =) Washed car after work.. Pumped petrol, treat the windscreen.. =)

July is a happening day.. 3 events on already.. Seems like I'm spendin money again.. Hopefully, July will just come and go..

National Runway Cycling~

Ha, last weekend was national runway cycling.. 45km of cycling around the runway.. 3 rounds around the runway.. Didn't manage to finish it within 2 hours.. In fact, I finish the first 2 rounds in 1 hour 45 minutes.. How to finish the 45km in 2 hours?? Haha.. Anyway, it's a good experience and I'm glad everyone enjoyed themselves.. It's a pity that yida is down with flu and fever.. Rest well dude..

Bought the digital fm transmitter from mustafa on Friday.. Some China Brand, 20 bucks.. With a "free" additional remote control.. The next thing I might wanna get is either cards, or thumbdrive.. Anyone wanna sell me 2nd hand goods?? Minimum 1GB.. Haha.. Anyway, I'm happily using the item.. Small invention, great usage.. Haha.. Car went for maintenance too.. Now all my headlights are working.. Woots..

Weekends are boring now.. Paintball is cancelled.. Ahmad went into OCS.. So any program this weekends?? Badminton? Movie? I think I should go somewhere with the car!! Haha, but where?? =(

In about 30 minutes time, I had served exactly ONE year of my NS liabilities.. Which means I am left with another 365 days.. Wootz!! I can smell my pink IC already.. =)

Work-wise, I have another 5 meeting to organize.. Hopefully, I will have my understudy after the 3rd meeting.. Hehex.. Meeting on 14 July and 21st August.. Sians..

Anyway, the weekends was well spent.. Saturday had lots of fun at Sentosa.. After that was dinner at Jurong Hill, IKEA shopping, supper at Udders, then night activities at Chinatown, Joo Jiat, then Geylang.. Supper is great!! Go check it out.. My "point A to B shuttlecar" was really good and faithful to us mans.. Assisted us in bring the humans and goods to every place.. Car give us the convienence though it comes with a heavy pricetag.. X(

Neh drove this weekend too.. He's damn bad driver.. =/ His driving is so "beng".. Haha.. And he super funny.. Wan cut into the lane never signal.. Then say turn right, let us cut in, but never slow down, don't let us cut in, and nevermind.. He go straight somemore.. =.=!! Then can tailgate wrong car.. Haiz.. =/

Sunday was cycling.. A long distance cycling.. My limbs are aching.. I hope they can recover by the weekend.. =) National Runway Cycling, 45km!! =)

53 Weeks - Vesak Day Off

Today marks the 51th weeks of National Service.. I will have to serve another 53 more weeks before I get my beloved, long awaited PINK Indentification Card!! X)

Took my Vesak Day off today.. I wanna clear it.. Spent some time with my secondary school friends, juniors to be exact.. Haha.. They're still good.. Used to be their mentor like a good 4 years ago, when Mr Ang used to "promote" me.. Haha.. Guess it's kinda useful as they still remember me.. They knew me more of I remember them. =)

Meeting up with good old friends is good.. I guess I should meet up with more people.. Like:
- Dars & Kars & Company.. People like qi zhu, sucky toh.. =)
- Secondary school classmate.. Li Zhu, Hui Kim, Josh, Yi Da & many more..
- Working pals.. Olivia, Luvina, Dior (Oki, I just meet them last month.. =/) How about Geradine,Jenn, Xiang Yun & company, Lao Lao, Alvin & company?? =)
- Secondary school juniors.. Sharon?? Oki, I know I said I wanna meet you for at CV for quite long le.. =/
- U15?? Ha, I know the nel group of people always had late night supper together.. How about a day where we have dinner together? Or do we always have to wait till festive period??

With these meetups, together with birthdays, festive period, and 1~2 holidays.. I bet my ORD date will just draw closer without me thinking too much.. =>

Lonely weekends

Lonely weekends again.. Simply hate weekend at home.. Sometime I wish my weekends will be more happening.. Afterall, we waited 5 days for 2 miserable days..

On a better note, I'm on Vesak Day off tomorrow.. =)

I used to ask my friends.. "Wads up after the diploma?"
Now, the question is coming back to me.. Studies or Work?? Local or Overseas??
Argh.. I used to have 2 years.. Now, it's one.. A day closer to ORD also bring headaches to me.. Perhaps, this is one of the reason why people sign on.. =\

With a blink of an eye.. 54 more weeks to go.. This month, next year, I will be busy counting down.. 14 more days.. Haha.. Dreaming.. =/

This week is a tiring week.. Had ALO DnD on Friday.. 10 bucks to eat good food.. Why not?? Haha.. But the food isn't really that good, in my opinion.. Is a mixture of good food and average food.. Well, let's not complain.. The lucky draw prize is what excite me more only.. Sadly, didn't even win anything.. 800+ people, what are your chances?? Anyway, SK is the lucky one.. Won a PSP.. If only there is NDS.. Haha..

After all the eating in HK and the late night supper, it's back to exercise.. Badminton with officers today.. Marine parade CC.. Only don't like the in availability of showers.. Else, it will be perfect, and I will go every week..

Months to come will be very interesting.. Meeting dates are up and I will be getting busier and busier by the day.. There's a long list of things to go and to do.. The major one being..

- Narional Runway Cycling (June) 45km Endurance
- Osim triathlon (July / August) Volunteer?
- Narional Day (August) Tickets or Overseas?
- Redang??
- Freighting over pin's present?? Ha, mum say she's gonna pay, but it's the first time I doing it.. Haha..
- Cable tv had touched down at my place.. Wootz.. National geographic and discovery!!
- Year end trip?? Taiwan? Aussie??

Anyway, on a side note: I've asked.. I'll wait for the positive..

Back from HK

Yippee.. I'm back from Hong Kong.. Yeap, more updates on it on my next post.. But to summarize, I'm glad all went well.. Except for a few if them who were sick near the end of the trip.. Guess it's home sick.. The moment we touchdown at changi international airport, apparently all went as per normal..

So hong kong trip is done.. Where next!? Taiwan? Aussie?? But I will wanna go to either langkawi or redang first.. Wahaha.. Any takers?? Tigerairways is giving free seats.. Only 50 bucks airport taxes.. =)

Life back in Singapore is back to working.. I always drag myself to work after each holiday.. I need lots and lots of short trips to reward myself!! It's like 1 month more to mark my 50% completion in NS.. Hopefully these 6 months go by fast and I will be waiting for my upperstudy already.. Wahaha..

These few days I've been driving out for supper.. Mans, petrol is draining my wallet.. I will be driving to work these few days too.. Can't car pool.. Dad is coming back soon.. Hope he don't sell the car.. Then we can have supper every weekend.. Hehe..

hong kong -- to go or not to go..

ages.. it had been ages since i last blog.. hahas.. my masian cousin was saying i'm so lousy.. nv update.. so i told her i will update before i go hk.. so while waiting for her important discussion with her mum, i shall squeeze in a short post.. since she asked me to wait for her to finish as she needs me to help her do some things..

work had been alright.. begining of the year was busy doing the score computation.. organising meetings.. i had to organise 2 meeting, co-organise 1 meeting, and attend another 1 meeting this quarter.. thats alot.. alot files to prepare, details to confirm.. it juz make my time more and more busy.. time past faster, but tea breaks were cutted down..

after the biggest event of the year, the RPC.. its kinda free.. yea mans.. so to date, it stands at 5 meeting to organise, 1 to co-organise.. and yeap, i'm done with my ns.. and ya, my maj was saying to ask for an understudy at the end of the year, so he can sit in 1 meeting with me.. yea!! =D~~ so when he comes, i will slowly shift the workload over.. yea!!

dad's outstation.. meaning he's nt in singapore!! hehex.. i got a car to drive... yippee!! i drove to work, drove out during weekends and late night.. and yea!! now i'm so like the life of having a car.. but maintaining it poses a challenge.. within 1 month, i top up the car 4 times.. its 50 bucks per top-up.. i top up the cash card once, and also bought parking coupons.. mans.. more than half of my allowance juz disappear like tis.. haiss!!

swine flu is hitting asia.. i've gt a hong kong trip during the nxt week.. i've booked the tickets some time last year mans.. i hope nothing drastic happens which prevent me from departing.. wadeva happen after i depart will not be that bad.. wahahas..

tis time i'm going with my poly friends!! =)) we're on our own.. we juz finished planning out itinerary.. hopefully we can get around there.. not everyone know cantonese.. my masian cousin was saying singapore's cantonese all cannot make it one.. =.= well, we will survive..

alrite, nothing much to blog about.. these few days will be a "walk in the park, swim in the pond".. nothing much to do.. exercise period, office will have little pple.. so well, its more or less, nthing to do..

happy niu year to all!! tis year, its the year of the ox.. its my cousin's year, but as i told her, the year of the ox is never a good year.. lets embrace ourselves and go through tis difficult times together.. let's not hav high expectations.. the higher ur expectations, the greater your disappointment..

anyway, this lunar new year was so not looking forward to.. i spent my lunar new year in singapore and its dead boring.. last year i enjoyed myself soooo much in masia.. hahas... but times are bad, lets save for rainy days.. =) i'm determined not to stay in singapore again for the next lunar new year.. as people is looking forward to the lunar new year, i am more looking forward to xmas, as it marks the end of the ox year and 6 month plus more for my ns liabilities..

yeap, ns is really killing me.. hahas.. i gt like 72 more weeks.. but like wad i tell the rest.. everyone hav to serve 2 years.. the only difference is wad one gain during the 2 years.. slack and you wasted 2 years.. be a little more hardworking and you will definately benefit during the 2 years.. gain something.. if its not knowledge, it could be network.. guess its easier said than done.. well, that's always the case.. part-time study? definately a nonoo.. i'll be glad if i am able to pay off my poly debts and at least go for a trip or two during these 2 years.. =)

talking about ns life.. well, these few coming days are really hectic.. its getting close to the end of the work year, and there are thousand and one things to be completed.. and to add on to the "13th month" bonus, we hav shifted office.. to the 2nd level to combine both office into 1.. do i like the new office? yes and no.. yes, its good and nice... to enhance cohesion.. no because the office is smaller then our entitlement, and more importantly, the office is not clean.. but nevertheless, its onli 72 weeks.. juz live with it..

office shifting is more or less done.. i do not even hav the time to tidy up my place, let alone do my main role and responsibility of my appointment.. luckily i onli hav 1 box of files.. and they are onli restricted.. waiting for my cardboard to come.. and there's lots of paper work i wanna do.. prepare for a good and proper handover.. =)

last week was kinda hectic.. we had HAL lunch and then branch dinner at seletar camp.. the cafe open by jerry which they specialise in buffalo wings.. its a nice place.. i would go there again if i have the change.. anyway, these chinese new year, i do not hav the chance to play mj.. =( the harder i try to arrange mj session, the more difficult it becomes.. thks to my duties, i missed 3 mj session.. thks to shifting of office, i missed another 2 sessions.. argh!! sometime, the harder you try, the more impossible it gets...

been catching up with relatives and friends.. i believe i catch up with more old time friends than relative currently.. ha, tis is basically because our family dont do visiting during the lunar new year.. i believe 3 to 4 years down the road, the tradition is over.. hahas.. tis year, we onli went to my uncle's place... and i'm glad that i get to drive.. wahahas.. and i did my parking.. oh well, 1 parallel, 1 perpendicular.. hahas.. but i still sucks at getting in and out of my multi-story carpark.. argh!! hahas..

so the resolution for this year? nothing much.. haha.. the more resolution you set, the harder you live your life.. juz go as the flow.. wahahas..
- i'm so wanna get cable tv tis year.. mum had agreed to get it after the lunar new year.. and i'm sourcing for second hand television set to be place in my room.. =)
- catch up with more old friends.. from sec sch to working friends..
- apart from my hk trip, i wanna go for another overseas trip tis year end.. wahahas..
- and hopefully, a good and strong financial amount of 2.5k~3k in preparation to repay my poly debts..
guess if i go for holidays, my poly debts will be at risk.. wahahas.. but anyway, i definately would wan to catch up with more old friends.. alr got plans.. hahas..

yeap, i know i have not been updated.. haha.. really enjoying myself during the last few days of 2008.. hahas.. didnt know my masian cousin also read it.. hahas..

wootz, i am left with 1 year, 5 months.. have completed slightly more than 25% of my NS liabilities.. to kinda celebrate and mark each block of 25%, its good to have a short getaway to take a break and kinda relax.. though i wish i could take endless short breaks and to go on trips, but my jobscope and number of leaves dont entitle me to do so.. sob sob..

spent the last few days of 2008 in masia with my relatives.. onli mum and i went up there.. we had lots of funs.. we went to places to relax and enjoy.. there wasnt much itinerary on my agenda.. itinerary gives headach when we cant accomplish wad we wanna do.. main aim was to relax and enjoy.. and of cos, to eat.. hahas.. the 2nd cousin was back from uk for holiday.. bet she misses us, espically me cos when i went up a few times previously, she wasnt there.. the best she get was a web cam conversation with me, not lasting any longer than 5 minutes.. hahs..

brought 6 bags up.. check in weight was 28.8kg.. haha.. its so paiseh mans.. we are going to KL with 6 luggage.. i think people will easily think we are migrating.. hahas.. anyway, told them we can leave 2 luggage empty, coming back with onli 4 bags.. but we were wrong.. hahas... oh ya, we took japan airlines anyway.. its cheaper than budget airlines, ironically..

the trip there was great.. we went to a'famosa.. even my masian cousin never been there.. it was a gd trip.. i bet one could never go there and experience such thing on their own.. the place was so damn inaccessible.. by the look, i believe it was one of the best place to go when it was newly open.. the place seems rather "rundown", probably due to the lack of maintenance.. but it was still alright.. dont expect US standard in masia.. haha.. like wad we always say..

look at the amount of thing we shop, and eat.. i bet we did easily spent more than a 4 digit figure (RM) in masia.. haha... the things my mum bought is lots, and guess wad, we came back with full 6 luggage.. in fact, we were overweight... 41kg to be exact.. hahas.. overall, the trip was fun and enjoyable.. my cousin place was like my 2nd house.. really appreciate their hospitality.. thanks a million~~ =)

back to singapore, its back to the hassle and bustle of singapore pace work.. hahas.. its a totally different experience every since i touch down.. mans, i really wish i can juz stay in masia forever.. anyway, its the end of the work year.. things are picking up fast.. will be even faster after the chinese new year.. veri soon, it will be mid feb before i can take things slowly.. and its not for long, there's another meeting in april.. argh!!

the dates are set... i hav meetings coming tuesday.. after tat is writing of minutes, tabulating of scores.. nxt tuesday, i will be on KO duties.. tat means late nite in office.. plus my office is shifting.. this means it will be a pack and busy jan.. in feb, there's this final input of scores from formation and the final, biggest involvement, most hectic score calculation.. argh!!

aussie uni open house was here tis weekend.. went there for the 2 days.. tried to apply for an aviation degree.. well, course fees are expensive, chances are slim.. but nevertheless, i tried for 3 uni.. well, as i said.. never try, never know.. so juz giv it a shot.. sometimes ns could be a blessing in disguise.. it gives me more time to make my further education decision.. hahas..

its onli the 2nd week of 2009, and i've caught up with quite a number of old friends.. friends from my part-time work, friends from poly.. friends from secondary school, and even cousins, who we seldom meet, due to some clashes of holiday and free time.. well, i do hope i can meetup and catch up with them more often during this year.. wahahs.. =)

damns, thks to the thai unity and determination to stay at the airport, my flight to phuket is cancelled!! argh!!

airasia planes fly from BKK - SIN, then SIN - HKT.. since their planes are all stuck at BKK, hence, there is no plane to bring me to phuket.. argh!! which means it screwed by phiket trip... sians... 600 bucks air ticket, 9980 baht accommodation, 1000 bucks worth of thai baht.. all kanna jamed.. hais!! lucky we manage to get almost a full refund, minus all the stupid administrative charges..

spent several days at sentosa.. well, not overnite though.. haha. bring my cousins there.. deprived kids.. =X never been to sentosa before.. haha.. so well, bring them there lo... at least they enjoyed themselve.. esp sherman.. everything they do is their first time.. hahas.. sometime, i juz wonder how priviledge are we.. so much so that we take things for granted..

well, dec holiday will be spent in KL.. yeap, seems like the word "AGAIN".. hahas.. wad to do.. there so mani place i wanna go, but yet, could convert this dream into reality.. haiss.. booked a flight to KL, using japan airlines.. haha.. you must be wondering why this strange idea.. it all started with me..

were looking for the cheapest way to go up to KL.. so was thinking of bus.. but since the recent grassland accident, i decided to give aeroline a try.. its 49 per way, 102 for 2 way including administrative charges.. so 100 bucks is so ex.. decide to fly there instead of bus.. so checked all the budget airlines and decide to take tigerairways up, airasia down.. 66 bucks, excluding booking fees and baggage charges.. so well, we procrasinate, cos dunno who wants / can go...

then the next day, which is yesterday.. decide to book... check the budget airlines.. damn, price increase.. by so much.. tiger going at 130, airasia 138, jetstar at 169.. so damn expensive.. about 2 - 3 times more lo.. so desperate times call for desperate measures.. so do some research.. saw 143 bucks to fly with japan airlines.. cheaper than budget, plus the service.. oki la, deal!! =X

dunno if its a good choice or not.. haha.. and today i saw, its 141 bucks.. =.= so anyway, wont be celebrating new year in singapore.. =X

tis weekend is rather a busy one.. took a friday off to help out my elder sister's 21st birthday celebration..

celebration was at costa sand downtown east.. food was too much.. okies, some correction here.. staple food is in excess.. there was not enough meat.. leftover otah was lots too.. haha.. and our job was to help her friends bbq the food.. damn, we were like free labourer for her.. =.= was dead tired after her chalet.. do not even hav time to catch up with my relative there.. haiss.. wasted 1 day leave..

today was my aunt and uncle 25th wedding anniversary... held at TOC.. went there with my elder sister.. mum had another function, whereas younger sister last minute was having a fever.. spent some time catching up with my relative, especially my cousin.. love being around with them.. there would be a xmas gathering there.. wohoo!! looking forward to it.. haha.. anyway, congrats to them!!

today was a sporty weekend for me.. yeyea!! quit procasinating!! yea, i finally gt my lazy bones to exercise..

yea, saturday was around the eastern singapore cycling.. yea mans, with wai kiat.. i cant believe he did suggest this to me.. haha.. seems like he became more adventurous ever since the tekong chalet.. haha.. so there's the route..

40th donation drive!! screw it.. tis bloody thing hav made me so fedup in office today... argh!! here hows the story goes...

40th donation drive.. to put it simply, it means taking money from you, to rob you openly.. well, everyone has to do it.. no escape.. so i was tasked to get the nominal role for my department.. and to ask if you wan to go by donation card, or by pledge form.. it jus a mere 10 bucks for nsf, 20 bucks for msg and below, 30 bucks for 2wo and above... i juz cant understand why pple dun wanna close 1 eye and give willingly...

do the maths.. 10/400 of your allowance is juz a mere 2.5%.. and its juz a 1 time donation.. and definately those higher rank are drawing more pay den us nsf.. so well, i was tasked to gather who wans to do by either donation card or pledge form.. it was already last minute.. and i gt to submit by before lunch... so i called and try to be chariable and talk to them nicely..

money, being money, is a sensitive issue to all typical singaporean.. when it comes to donating money, no one wans to make a move.. haisss.. so being typical singaporeans, they try to avoid.. can siam onli siam.. and when i try to push.. they flare up.. like wtf!??!! nt as if the money goes to me.. i feel like telling them off.. "please sound your disagreement to the appropriate channel.." if i am mike, ORD today, i would hav juz sound them off... haiss... it makes be like a loan shark.. you think i really like chasing pple.. argh!!

talking about being chariable.. giving when in times of need... tis is all crap.. no one does it.. its all for show... its all an act.. is the saying, "the world is jus onli a stage.," really true??

and wad pissed me off is when i was told off my a maj.. damn!! i was juz waiting for a reply.. sms, no reply.. called, kanna told off.. isnt he too much.. does selecting donation card or pledge form really tat tedious tat you cant do it after office hours?? so wad if you're on mc.. does it mean you cannot reply jus a 2 word sms?? talking about being efficient and effective.. i cant believe it.. maj and yet still like tis.. haiss!! hw to be operation ready.. 1 sms, 2 words, 1 "send" button.. juz because you on mc you cant do all these?? argh!!

yea, a quick check on my ns booklet.. serving for 3 months, 1 week!! great achievement yea?? hahas..

kinda getting used to my appointment.. at least 80% left right.. hahas.. its nt gonna be easy.. i see myself having a hard ord period when i'm gonna past down my appointment, my job knowledge.. hahas.. anyway, shifting office nxt week, i believe.. after my officer is back from some exercise... meetings coming in mid-oct.. its time to anticipate.. i'm planning my quarterly reports already.. time is running short.. its always better to anticipate early.. =)

tis weekend was kinda boringly spent.. haha.. i went down to tekong to send rynel su in.. coincidently, khiam cheong, jasrandi, and lydia's brother, samuel was also enlisting.. falcon company.. hahas.. rest of the day was spent with my secondary sch friends.. yida, paulin and yu xiang.. yu xiang is enlisting soons, yida jus pop.. so well, great catch up.. hehex.. =)

sunday was as usual spent giving tuition.. exams are coming.. so i guess my tuition lesson will last for about 1 month or so.. all the best to my student.. esp wei wen!! jia you bah!! 2 more weeks onli, and its over.. lets get over ur n lvls, and move towards the o lvl.. =) try you best bah.. bring you out after ur n lvls bah.. =D

was watching tis new tv show on channel 5.. its called oprah's big give!! damn, tis is a veri good show.. its about 10 people, given a certain amount of money, and was told to go out and help someone who is a complete stranger.. and well, 1 particular case really touched me..

the background is.. there's tis single mother with 2 daughter.. when their daughter was young, still nt schooling, kindergarden i think.. their father was murdered in a gunshot robbery (i think).. tis leave them in a state of nowhere.. they didnt see it coming.. the solebread winner is gone.. they mortage their house to survive.. the daughter education was not promising either...

so this 2 guys, forming a team.. they went down and interview the family.. did some fund raising.. and tis is wad they did:

- started the day with a toys shopping spree for the 2 daughters.. they bought damn alot of toys.. its like 8 -10 trolleys of toys..
- drive back to their house where there was a carnival with the neighbourhood.. its a small neighbourhood of around 300 pple.. there were those inflatables playground, balloons, farm animals, food.. everything!! its really like a carnival..
- den there's tis presentation... whereby they say the full paid the mortage house.. and the house is nw theirs.. den they found some scholarship for their daughter.. nt onli 1, but BOTH their daughters for a good EIGHT years!! and their daughter nw is like in k1 or k2 onli...
- after tat, there were some emotional part whereby they gt 3 huge helium ballons, i believe.. then they ask the mum and 2 daughter to write a message.. they attached it to the balloons.. and release it into the air..

really touches my heart.. they way they communicate with the "stranger" to look for their neeeds.. the effort they took to bond with the 2 daughters.. the go-the-extra-mile to talk to all the neighbours and encourage them to make it a point to attend the carnival.. and the emotional part of the "BIG GIVE" juz seal it all and complete the whole package!!

sometimes, i really wish i can do such thing.. =)

boring week ahead.. in fact, to summarise, its a boring month.. nthing is filled in this month.. onli the not-so-anticipated shifting of office, which i reckon will happen on the 20th september.. =( i'm so gonna miss ST Aerospace DMPO!!

2 of the days last week was spent at toa payoh for the national innovation and quality circle convention 2008 presentation (public).. mindef sent 21 teams consisting all different services to complete with other private sectors and big big mncs and company.. 5 teams were represented by RSAF.. AFS, CAB, TAB, SBAB, PLAB.. well, guess wad?? the results are great!! RSAF secured 2 silver, 2 gold, and 1 STAR.. yea, 1 STAR.. first time in 3 years... first in mindef too.. yea, its like breaking a olympics record.. haha.. alrite, cheap internal thrill..

so well, this week is busy doing practically nothing.. nxt week onwards need to prepare for some meetings alr.. so been surfing the net throughout the whole day in office.. officers are all on exercise, so office is quite quiet.. hahas..

some friends pop-ed from tekong.. others are going in.. trying to slot some meetups and catchup is definately tedious.. hw i wish i can duplicate myself.. hahas.. i guess tis is kinda memorable in their life.. to finish phase 1 of national service liabilities.. haha.. 3 months onli.. sometime i really wish i can be certified combat fit.. since i like some element of fun.. but well, since the government is scared, and life is precious, den dun gamble.. stakes are super the high.. haha..
lazy bones setting in.. haha. somehow or rather, i jus wanna exercise but i cant find the time.. ubin? badminton?? i guess i should embak on either one tis month.. hahas..

mani overseas trips keep coming in my mind.. ahhh!! so much so tat i wish i'm not tied down both with national service and financially.. i guess backpackin and travelling is my cup of tea.. =) the plans were..
- chang mai trip with ginny... den perhaps stop by bangkok to shop.. air tix is ready to kill me!!
- kuala lumpur adventure trip?? step's bf was saying lets go camp overnite at Chiling Falls.. =D
- kuala lumpur year end trip?? thought of bringing my grandma up to geting and to enjoy while my uncle and cousin are in korea.. korea lei.. ahhh...
- fishing kelong trip.. near mersing.. 69 per nite... ahh.. i love tis.. but nid to pool pple.. ahhh...

guess kelong trip can be done nxt year.. when pple hav leave.. den we can clear and clear.. hahas... aiya.. kelong trip can easily organise among friends de.. i think.. hahas.. =) but more importantly is the adventure trip.. wahahs.. =)

its coming close to 3 months alr.. whee!! last weekend was so damn happening.. well, theres rsaf open house and comex.. hehex.. there's also the some latern festival display at chinese garden too!! hahas.. basically, this weekend, i think i accomplish the most number of things too.. hahas.. well, lets see...

was looking forward to friday as usual.. left office at 11 30 for lunch at canteen, den went to rsaf open house.. nt bad seh.. haha.. quite spectacular.. haha.. really worth going.. get to see each and every aircraft and even take picture with it.. get to board most aircraft, even the apache.. woah!! nt bad.. last chance to catch the black knights too.. went off after aerial display.. cool aerial display also.. haha..

after the display, grab some goodies.. gt some black knight badge.. gt a black knight shirt.. weets!! hahas.. met with encik ronald from HB.. also saw msg see, and 1sg yvonne.. but i guess 1st yvonne forgotten me.. wahahas.. also saw brandon at the air show.. he's working for dstar.. welcome to tekong soons.. he gt a joyride on a chinnok.. but well, it was full.. so downgraded to c130.. hahas...

went to comex to look see look see.. before tat went to robinsons centrepoint to catch up with working pals.. happen to see practically everyone and anyone.. haha.. from my household department to the manager office.. haha.. sit down and chatted with them a while.. den off to suntec to meet irene and chun hwee..

walked around comex.. nthin much.. onli interested in the ext hdd.. so went to survey.. brought home brochures.. went to suntec to eat subway.. hahas. den slack around and catch up with the couple.. hahas..

was thinking of going to rsaf open house on sat morning again.. the rain spoil my mood.. dad couldnt wake up.. so i went down to burn offering.. den down to comex again.. with woeiling to get my ext hdd and her printer.. i decided to buy the freecom toughdrive instead.. =) den took a cab to farrer park mrt, den to hougang.. met mum at compass, younger sister took passport size photo to make ic..

after tat went down to new seven storey hotel to eat steamboat.. to celebrate younger sister birthday.. after tat went to bugis walk walk awhile before going to city hall again.. tis time to meet wai kiat.. went to meet him, then to check out the model shop.. nt bad, reach my expectation.. went to suntec for dinner again.. he had carls junior.. sit down and chit chatted.. saw max also.. hahas.. was really dead tired.. hahas..

sunday was tuition and rest day.. wanted to go rsaf open house again, but its raining.. argh!! pissed!! so rest at home and clean up the room a little.. o.0 ya.. i did chat with my masia cousin!! they went chiling falls at kota kuala bahru or something like tat.. ahhh!! i like.. =S

end of the week is here.. tis week is short, but nt too simple..

well, everyone in the office is sick and falling ill.. air con here is like a fridge.. for the first time in 2.5 months, i'm using a jacket in office.. lately, there isnt much pple in the office.. officers are either taking leave, on mc, or outstation.. leaving us clerks in the office.. so quiet and peaceful in office.. =) nt feeling well recently also.. stomach like gt some funnie feeling.. nv eat still oki.. eat a little bit onli, can feel like stomach wanna explode.. like gt something stuck like tat.. =S nw in office, everyone is nt well; everyone hav their own health issues... =(

tis weekend was suppose to be rather happening.. thursday and friday gt rsaf open house for rsaf personnel.. same with comex!! haha.. i so wanna go comex.. i wanna get a few things.. but i think i wouldnt buy lots.. i wanna save save save!! hahas.. i looking for a 2.5" external harddisk.. saw freecom one like nt bad.. den wanna get zen x-fi player.. like quite good cos when i shift office, internet is a history le.. no more!! =( anyway, was also looking at the pulse smartpen.. looks damn good and useful.. but its 269 bucks.. nt too sure worth the money nw or nt.. i know when i'm in uni, sure useful de.. hahas..

might nt get much during tis comex.. maybe an 2.5" external harddisk will be fine.. i dun wanna spend alot.. NS 400 a month is nt alot.. plus i wanna save up to go overseas tis year end.. at first plan was to go to chiang mai den to bangkok.. but mum's friend fell down and injuried.. so chiang mai was nt top of the list.. so i guess maybe we will go somewhere in china?? haha..

backpackin!! i so love it.. i saw a friend's blog on backpackin in australia, thailand and indonesia.. wah seh!! i also wan go backpack lei... haissss.. can onli dream.. nt much time.. hhaa.. i guess short backpack after i ord, perhaps?? more of motivation to work.. KL to singapore is RM270.. tats for fuel and taxes.. haha. told my cousin tat it will be good to come singapore for a short getaway.. hahas..

miss the way officers jokes and talk about practically everything and anything under the sun..
miss the way we tell other pple off when they are ridiculous in security clearance..

well, so far, i've learn lots of things... and its enriching.. juz to name a few.. cant rmb all, but i'll add when i remember...
- even if you plan everything nicely, someone will be there to screw it up for you..

coming to 2 months into the work le.. wad a long way to go.. haha.. nevertheless, stay positive!!

last friday had a big big biannually meeting.. all the big shots came down.. overall, the meeting was a success.. no big hiccups.. love it.. hahas.. well, MAJ Chua seems happy.. so well, he let me clear my ndp leave tis week.. yippee!! thinking of a day.. friday i hope.. hahas...

anyway, saturday was spent at desaru.. fruit farm, firefly, lots of fun.. nt bad.. quite good.. go again?? might consider as it is a tour.. hate tours.. alr at singapore customs gt drama le.. cant stand tours.. perhaps drive up?? haha.. love those nice experience tour.. like the firefly.. perhaps my nxt trip shall be turtle lay eggs.. hahas..

olympic fever these few weeks.. juz love watching.. at home and in office!! will singapore win a medal? juz a bronze is also good..

mike and seah came over tis week to settle the PRIDE steering meeting thingy.. haiss.. really changing boss alr.. i dont really like him.. hahas.. he asking questions which i know he's mocking me.. sure trying to make me feel bad leaving DMPO going to admin side.. i knew it.. haiss.. guess i got to live with him for 2 years.. argh!! gonna set my side perfectly, and nt care about him... cant imagine when mike first told me we must be best friends.. argh!! dont want to say more.. ask if you wan to no more.. but its a secret.. tell you le must kill you.. =X

its 1 month and 2 weeks into my job.. my job really do require me to travel around... and at times, its slack, at times, its busy.. kinda love my job more and more often...

weekends was packed with bbq at isa house.. overnite mahjong.. wahahas... nxt month, august, there will be 5 weekends.. starting to plan everything...
1st weekend - another meetup with u15.. isa farewell..
2nd weekend - national day.. planning to go masia for 1 day..
3rd weekend - tentatively nthing.. was thinking of HSBC-TTW...
4th weekend - fireworks celebration
5th weekend - comex.. yea! i wan a harddisk.. hahas...

yea, currently blogging from office.. the whole office is nt in today.. onli me alone to mend the office.. so everything is under me today.. wahahas.. yea, the rest went for some retreat.. some kind of workshop.. so well, the clerks are suppose to mend the office.. but the other clerk is off to st electronics.. leaving me alone behind..

well, heard tat i'm really changing boss alr.. my current boss is handing the appointment to another officer.. here's a summary... this officer is from uav command.. hw cool.. and its a lady officer.. o.0... good or bad?? i dunno.. i nv met her before.. hahas...

and hopefully, i dont need to change office.. i cant imagine myself shifting officer... lets take for example i did change office.. so it would be like...

advantages:
- own OA account.. faster speed in sending and receiving mails..

disadvantages
- liable for key orderly; its 6 30am in the office, 8pm leave office..
- more expensive food, less variety...
- shortage of welfare which i am enjoying nw...
- more noisy environment...

see!! the disadvantage outwit the advantage.. am i for the move?? NO.. plus i dunno tis lady maj would know the job well or not.. hopefully she is good.. =S

its 1 month and 1 week into my appointment..

well, weekends are hard to come by.. everyday, i'm looking towards the weekends.. and when weekends are here, its always often nt filled with exciting activities.. haiss.. well, tats life.. but seems like it wont be like tis for long.. i'm gonna plan and fill my weekends up...

so far, managing well with my job.. there are busy times, there are slacking times.. but i guess its all worth it.. hahas.. i like the feeling when everything runs smoothly, and you know everything at your finger tips.. nt relying on anyone to teach you.. guess i'm still far from tis achievement...

i'm gonna change boss soons, though i hope nt so soon.. i still miss DMPO.. haha... might be changing office under the UAV branch.. good and bad... haha.. back at my DMPO office, welfare is great.. the onli downside is the 56k modem where i do my work.. its so damn slow, and its shared with 2 other officers.. at UAV, i will be using OA intranet.. tis means sending out and receiving mails are damn fast.. but there is no internet access... =( well, i still prefer DMPO office...

anyway, starting next month, i might be doing some tutoring for a living.. dunno shld i? or shld i nt?? its 150 per month.. e maths, 1.5 hours per lesson per week... =\

alrite, so i was posted to HQ RSAF.. currently under ALD, DMPO... my department is located at paya lebar air base, but luckily for me, my office is at st aero... its soooo cooooooool.. i get to walk pass at least 3 hangars to get to work.. imagine how close i can get to planes.. and when i say planes, i meant civilian planes too!! yea!! not onli the usual f5s...

i was even walking under a boring 767 today.. now, try doing it somewhere else.. i guess you hardly hav the opportunity.. hahas..

alrite, so my appointment is a personal assistant for WITS secretariat, or how you spell tat.. my immediate superior is a maj.. so well, i gt an invisible crab on my shoulder.. onli thing is tat i dun draw a maj's pay.. hahas..

well, my job scope is to chase reports, send email, organise meetings, and write minutes.. at first, tis job sounds quite sucky.. but leave with it and enjoy the benefits.. i gt like 2 full years of doing it.. i hope i can make full use of it and learn some PR skills.. tis is really helpful to me...

taking over is kinda hard task.. i onli gt like 1 week to learn everything from joshua, who distrupted his ns to further his studies in new castle.. mans, he's over there enjoying nw.. but at least i'm glad tat his help is juz a msn chat away... technology is wonderful today... =)

enlistment and out of tekong

monday, i was enlisted to tekong.. tis wonderful military island.. it was a 5.5 days BMC.. notice the "T" is missing.. cos there's nt much training involved... so its basic military camp (chalet).. hahas..

first day was alright.. parents came for tour while we register ourselves.. den was lunch at cookhouse before we are split to our platoon, section, and bed number.. so i was in taraus company.. platoon 3, section 4, bed 12.. hmmm...

to keep the long story short, these 3 days was spend doing lectures, drills, eating, sleeping.. mingering with fellow friends.. its good.. i can proudly say i miss tekong days.. sadly, its onli 5 days.. we book out on friday evening...

many things happened... pple from different walks of life, come together.. train together.. its good.. its like an eye opener.. my section consist of different people.. some try to break the ice as soon as possible.. some were so quiet tat they onli open up a few days later.. love my section-mates... they are hell fun lots who love to joke around... love the officers there too.. esp my sgt mjr.. hahas...

anyway, was posted to hq rsaf... quite far from my place.. but yea, i'm nt complain.. 2 years in ns.. lets enjoy.. or wad they say, serve and forget (SAF)... =S

well, in slightly more than 24 hours time, i would be enlisting into tekong.. tats right.. it marks the end of civilian life, and i nid to do my bit for singapore.. yea, SINGAPORE!

it might just be a 5 days "chalet", but imagine 5 days at tekong doing nothing?? cant they juz giv me 2 days of lectures and tats it... rather than spending 1 week in tekong doing nothing.. haha...

anyway, shall not complain.. juz go and enjoy myself, make some new friends.. =)

yea, i'm back from masia.. really it was an eating trip over there.. every since we are there, we have been practically eating... let me recall i've eaten...

nandos, maxvalue sushi, roadside zi cha stall, kayu roti tissue, roti milo, hotel buffet breakfast, subway sandwich, ca fei dian at digital mall, some road side bak ku teh, starbucks coffee, auntie linda's rice dumpling, some japanese shop at 1utama, wanton noodles at 1utama too, lots of mamak store, burskin robins ice cream, manhanttan fish market, nearby hotel the teochew porridge and wanton noodles, espire resturant.. and the list goes on.. well, i think i hav really eaten alot these few days...

ubin cycling trip was cancel.. =( thks to the weather.. spend some time getting my enlistment things ready, and also reformatting my comp..

euro08 is here.. tat keeps my nite young and alive.. ahhas.. i will be in camp during some of the matches.. is there cable tv in tekong?? =S dream on... talking about euro08.. dilan said masia mac is a good place to watch.. free flow of drinks plus when either side score a goal, free regular fries.. omg!! i think its a good place to watch mans.. why singapore doesnt hav such offer?? =S

wootz.. its the end of robinsons expo 150th anniversary birthday bash.. its really great working at robinsons.. another huge group of friends made.. i guess tats the advantage of robinsons expo.. you'll never find this at john little expo.. hahas..

last few days working at expo was fun.. so mani fun moments.. even the tear down was fun.. veri soons, we finish our job scope.. can leave at around 3.. so cool.. went to airport to slack and chill the rest of the nite... and i so damn tired nw...

been eating great food these few days.. damn!! i think i spent alot on food already.. ahh!! lets see:

27th may (tuesday) - after graduation went to city link's new york new york to eat with my classmates.. had cheezy chicken.. nt bad the food.. but nt say the best also.. hahas...

28th may (wednesday) - wanted to go meet mum at compass for meal.. but the damn bus and crowd juz piss me off.. asked mum to packet food home instead..

29th may (thursday) - after work, went out with my classmate to eat the korean buffet at suntec city.. 30 bucks.. the food is moderate.. its korean.. so some people might get sick of eating it.. nt much variety also.. so nt really tat worth it.. hahas..

30th may (friday) - after work, went to meet pris together with mpw.. went to suntec de pizza hut to eat pizza.. haha.. tried the mushroom pizza.. hahas.. den walk around marina square to find my friends there.. saw my cousin peili.. walk around the area.. hahas..

31st may (saturday) - afterwork, went to meet u15 at plaza sing.. went to the fish and co at the glass house there.. had baked salmon.. nice!! hahas.. wanted to eat the swordfish collar again, but didnt.. haha.. den went over to tcc for a drink.. den to istana park to chat and chill..

1st june (sunday) - expo last trading day.. priss came down.. after tat brought mpw and her to bedok's botak jones.. haha.. let them eat till they scared.. hahas.. miss botak jones.. love it.. they two eat till feel like vomitting.. hahas..

2nd june (monday) - expo tear down.. we finish kinda early.. say around 3.. the whole expo grp of friends went to the airport.. cover terminal 3 and terminal 2... slack around, chat, talk about everything.. laugh till siao.. haha.. had popeyes for dinner, and had ice cream at swensens...

3rd june (tuesday) - a day in the zoo with pat, li kai, woeiling, chun hwee... thks to pat, we gt 50% staff discount.. den we hav free tour with behind the scene at fraglie forest.. so cool.. spend the whole day at the zoo.. den went back to amk for dinner at jacks place.. ate the steak and the baked potato rawks.. haha..

damn, its so sinful.. practically everyday eat good food.. mans, i nid to exercise.. haha.. following day going to masia to eat and eat again.. hahas.. nxt week going to ns le.. ahh!!

yippee!! its my graduation today.. its like a routine.. haha.. i dunno, but its like juz following the flow.. there's so mani things to do... hw i wish graduation hav more upcoming activities after the ceremony.. i miss those photo taking with friends and chatting with lecturers... =D sadly, all these hav come to an end.. haha.. i so miss poly life.. ahhh!!

well, i received my wintek book prize.. its 250 instead of the 200 bucks written in mysas.. well sounds good to me.. haha.. diploma with merit plus my diploma plus programme.. whee!! =D so wads nxt?? i guess degree is looking at me nw.. ahh.. its study and study.. well i saw something in news today tat seems to interest me..

yea mans, robinsons expo sales started... three days into the event.. working afternoon, morning, afternoon..

expo sales started off badly.. clearly they were overstaff.. hahas.. but well, they never learn.. haha.. so at one point, there can be 10 pple gathering at the pathetic 4 cash till with no customers.. wahahas... i would say they choose the wrong place to hold their expo.. and their planning really cannot make it.. hahas...

alrite, at least today sales was not bad.. together with the popular fair at hall 4, food fair at hall 5, adidas fair at hall 6, and city harvest church service at max pavilion.. at least they will get some crowd.. hahas...

apart from the perm staff, temp staff are fun to work with... chatted and joke around.. on the other hand, perm staff are a group of lazy people... so call expert in cash till, by some manager... but well, they juz stand there and are in charge of 4 till.. wows; where's the equality?? yawns...

anyway, 2 more days of afternoon shift and its an off day for graduation.. den morning all the way!! wheee!! and tml staying over at darren's place.. =)

store sales contract ended..

yea mans.. finally, my store sales contract ended... working in store was fun.. at least my new department was nice.. hehex.. =D heard from other temp staff tat their department was bad.. at least i'm happy i worked in a nice, fun and friendly department.. even the manager is fun to work with.. hahas..

so manage to complete all my signages... printed everything and prepare everything to bring to expo.. over at expo, my job is veri important.. onli i know hw to print signages.. haha.. apart from one other AA.. alrite, working at the office these few days is quite fun.. lots of story of different rude and unreasonable customer.. well, sometimes customer are not always rite... hate those unreasonable customer.. haha..

at last few days also gt alot things to do.. OCN delivery took us like 3 days to pack and re-pack and re-pack everything.. waste of time and effort.. so much for earning their 50k.. tsk! haha... luckily everything is done before we leave mans... it will be my last time working in store.. so gonna miss them... after robinsons expo, its time to enjoy and enlist..

slept like a pig today.. 12mn to 12nn.. hahas... nid to recharge to work for robinsons expo.. hahas.. =) days to enjoy before i enlist has come to less than 30.. argh!!

congrats to wei wen.. she manage to score a whooping 80% overall for her maths... i manage to push her maths grade pass A2, and even hitting A1.. i guess she must be a happy girl afterall.. but there shldnt be any room for complacency.. she gt 2 more examinations to go thr.. prelims and N lvl.. lets hope tat she can get into sec 5.. =)

alrite, overall i guess she had done fairly well.. given the fact tat she did last minute study, in my opinion.. i guess i could help her score even better.. at least for the rest of the major subject.. she nids to improve on 2 to 3 more subject to be on track... =D alrite, on a happy note, let her relax a few more weeks before i start teaching her again.. =) i guess on the discipline side, she's there alr.. juz tat she likes to show black face.. =\ hahas... she will study.. but with a black face... hahas..

alrite, so its 1 more week of working before i end my store contract.. its 6 solid days of morning shift... so here's the break through...

monday - still expecting crowd as its the public holiday.. if nt its those service recovery thingy..

so tat marks the end of my store sales.. wad's nxt should be expo.. =) after 4 years, its robinsons expo back again.. its like world cup, its like election.. its like olympics.. 4 years once.. so enjoy lo... =D

after expo is john little expo.. was thinking of working also.. but think i'm contemplating if i should work or opt for a short trip to masia.. yea mans.. to relax!! and also visit my cousins.. hahas.. i think i choose the latter.. so robinsons expo is my first part time job.. and also my last.. sweet ending?? =\

nothing spread faster than fire than news.. alrite, bad news spread so fast tat it become the hot topic of the whole robinsons.. from lvl 5 to the atrium.. everyone knows about it...

yea, its the bad guy.. the eat snake king.. mans, he's too daring... right under the CCTV, he can steal fellow colleague's handphone, and even sold it, splitting the loot with another part time promoter.. mans, tats bad... rumors said he's the one behind the 200 bucks lost in the counter.. well, might be him... cant confirm till further investigations...

mans, he's really daring.. he was suppose to promote for dirt devil vacuum cleaner for several days but did nt turn up.. he was said to be from boy's home previous.. join robinsons as a sales associate through the agency.. mans, tis is bad for both the agency and the company... he was also said to be involve in those underdog things...

well, all i can say is.. tis is the first time such thing happened after working for 4 years in this service line... luckily he was caught before the matter get worst at the expo... he deserved it!

yea, its another 1.5 weeks more of work... 4 afternoon shift, 1 off day, and 6 days of morning shift!! yea!!

mans, i'm really tired these few days.. tutoring wei wen is over.. hence, can get enuff sleep after work... today i slept almost for the whole day.. so damn shiok.. working at cookware was alrite... its totally different from other departments.. stamping of warrenty cards, testing of electrical equipment, and shiftting of stock.. calling of customer, arranging for delivery, and even doing delivery itself.. mans, its really a good experience.. hahas..

manager doing service recovery almost everyday.. all thks to the philips promoter.. lucky we gt a new promoter.. tis promoter seems nt bad.. hahas... alrite, so customer wan something, no stock, make payment.. den later no stock, or stock come late, den delivery another 1 week of wait.. so manager says forget it.. juz deliver it to their house.. haha.. so its kinda good service... hahas..

tml is labour day.. its an public holiday.. but being in the sales industry, especially doing POS, PH are something which we dont look forward to... there's crowd, theres discount, and people are being nt-so-nice, juz to get wad they wan... at least there's double pay tml, which makes it worth for us to work... and worst thing is tat we are open at 9 30 tml.. some early bird special thingy...

these few days hav been rather busy... help serene neo in setting up the section in her department for a new brand.. tis manager, i find, iis rather unique.. haha.. she's like so kan cheong and everything also wan to do it first.. hahas... her voice is also veri unique.. haha.. one-of-a-kind.. but a good manager overall.. i think robinsons manager are still the best...

talkin about gd manager.. kelly, cosmetic and toiletries manager is back to work.. haha.. miss working with her.. haha.. nw she lost her voice and therefore, she keeps smiling and bullying me when she sees me.. haha.. one of the manager tat can joke around with..

jolin and peter lim saw me during break at mac today.. asked me to be on standby A shift.. which means i nid to be in the store at 9am.. omg!! tats so early... but i dun mind working at the office.. oh mans.. nw i'm becoming famous everywhere... =\

work started a few days back.. so 7 of us, all jumped from john little to expo.. whee!! sadly, all splitted to different department...

was busy shifting things in my department.. quite a nice place to work in, though i still prefer lvl 1.. hahas.. was at the office with so mani big shot people these few days.. printing signages.. love the people there.. esp tis lady call carene tan.. hahas.. nice working there... printing signages, giving attitude?? hahas...

3 more weeks, and yea, finish working at outlet... heard sales starting on the 29th.. really test my skills.. i dun really like doing at tis department cos its difficult to select the plastic bag to pack, and the damn warrenty card thingy.. must find it, chop it.. slows down my momentum.. darns...

roster-wise, its a killer, and a breeze on alternate days... its alternate morning and afternoon.. nt tat bad if i'm working morning.. but the nxt day, after nite shift, its a morning.. darns.. and i'm working 8am tml to shift some stocks for the ladies department.. argh!!

on a lighter note.. NTU offered me a double degree... EEE&E.. electrical and electronic engineering and econs.. nt sure shld i take it up... its might be stressful... but piggy's elder sister says taking EEE alone, nxt time hard to find a job, cos its too common... but econs is a totally new thing to me.. sians!!

and yeap, its 2 weeks since i pass my TP.. looking forward to my license in my letterbox real soons.. tml i guess!! =)

after the concert, went to jalan kayu for a sort of yam cha session.. haha.. we had bean curd and prata... reach there at 11 and chat till about 1 40 plus i believe... 6 of us, zi rong, irene, chun hwee, yi jia and chloe... i love such session... hope hav more nxt time... =) after tat, walked from there back home.. send the girls home before walking back home.. reached home at 2 30.. nice!! =)

anyway, enlistment letter had arrived... 16th june.. i'm going to tekong for a 5.5 days induction program.. shld be back on 21st june, i believe.. =)

my days in mainland singapore is numbered.. i'm going into tekong in like 8 weeks time... 4 weeks gone for robinsons assignment.. and i still gt wei wen i nid to tutor... cannot juz throw her alone ah... jia you!! =D

chalet!!

yea, after an assignment at expo, its time to let our hair down and enjoy... =)

juz came back from a 3D2N aloha loyang chalet with u15.. in conjunction to the celebration of chun hwee 20th birthday.. the "2" has arrived!! wheee!! hahas...

was kinda busy these few days too.. first day went down to RC to bring priss for the briefing.. after tat down to aloha and check in.. play monopoly for less than 1 hr before leaving the place to the airport to receive my primary school friend!! den down to tampines and waited for her to unpack before going to GIANT for dinner.. =) back to tampines mall to walk around before returning back to chalet.. played mahjong and didnt sleep much on the first day.. i reckon onli about 5 hrs of sleep..

2nd day was spent playing mahjong before leaving the chalet again.. down to my uncle place to get the water dispenser before heading home to cook the bee hoon.. love my uncle lots mans.. he gave me lots of chocolates.. =) den cab down to aloha and get ready for BBQ.. small BBQ session.. i think we dont hav the numbers and the times to do a big one.. hahas.. ended the day with water bomb party again... yawnss... cycle to mac with nesh and chit chatted before heading back for mahjong.. till 3am.. washed up the place before going to bed... i reckon onli 5 hrs of sleep too.. o.0 ya.. its piggy's younger sister birthday.. happy birthday wei wen!! 16 onli ah.. 2 more years before i bring you to the place you longed to go.. =S

3rd day was check out.. after completing everything, went to white sand for lunch.. den back home.. i was dead tired.. i tried to steal like few hours of sleep before leaving home again... went to wei kei's house to teach her younger sister..

mans, i cant believe pple who teach for a living.. they are like money suckers.. hahas.. 1.5 hrs and i truly dont believe the kid can sit down and absorb everything the teacher teach for 1.5 hrs... its like impossible.. and hw much they earn.. tsk tsk!! i really cant believe it mans...

anyway, i taught her for a good 5 hours.. with a 30 minutes break.. i think its more effective and it produce better outcome.. haha... well, i dont charge.. tats the catch.. i dont believe in charging pple for teaching.. hahas.. i guess i onli teach close friend's siblings.. hahas.. =P

i hope she would do well for her coming mid year.. its a gauge of hw she will fair for her Ns.. i believe she can do it.. she've shown some great determination.. like wad i always say.. its mind over matter.. you can achieved anything with a determined mind..

if onli she was like tis 3 to 5 years back.. she's stubborn and doesnt wan to learn back den.. i guess she changed.. its better late than never...

yea, i passed my TP!! whee!!

1.5 hours of warm up, 1 hr in circuit, 15 minutes of waiting, 45 minutes of driving.. 1 typical strict tester, 14 demerit points, 1 tick on the passed results... 180 bucks in total for today's lesson.. plus 2 bucks for kopi session with my instructor after the driving test... nice feel it was really.. but the tester is damn strict... he's so yaya... lets nt mention his name here....

so tis is wad i gt penalised on...

1. Turn steering wheel whilst vehicle is stationary - 2 point... i know i am guilty of tis.. i mentioned in my previous post.. juz giv it to him la..
2. Veer off course - 4 points... damn, he is so damn strict.. say i dun hav firm control of the wheel
3. Fail to use appropriate gear - 2 points.. he said i drag the gear too much..
4. Improper turning (Wide turn) - 1st time, 0 point.. 2nd time, 2 points
5. Improper turning (Sharp turn) - 1st time, 0 point..
6. Fail to check blind spot - 1st time, 0 point... 2nd time, 0 points.. 3rd time, 4 points... he juz penalise me cos i check blind spot and change lane in correctly.. like double penalising.. kns!!

but well, anyway i passed.. hahas... hope my friends out there dun get tis yaya tester...

i was travelling on the right lane, wanting to do a right turn.. when tis van from left lane go to right lane to overtake, den move back to left lane.. so the van backside is in the right lane.. so obviously i couldnt clear and didnt move.. and it was red light with green arrow.. so he ask me..
tester: do you understand wad is green arrow?
me: yeap, but the van backside blocking me..
tester: cant you move to the right and turn?
me: *keep quiet*.. obviously i cant do it as the green arrow is blinking alr...
tester: is it so difficult to move to the right and turn?

like so yaya mans.. kns!! and when i do the emergency brake, his car fly forward.. i was laughing in silence.. haha... and after the debriefing.. i dunno wad to do.. so he kept my pdl.. so i ask him..
me: so the pdl you keep issit?
tester: go watch the video first, den pay 50 bucks for the license.. they will return you the pdl..
me: orh okies..
tester: who wans to steal ur pdl...

kns mans.. he juz must hav it his way... terrible!!

haiss!! thks my instructor who is always teaching me mans.. he's a good instructor.. anyone wanna learn driving?? hahas... had a kopi session with him after the test... he say my tester is strict.. lucky i pass.. phew!!

as my TP date draws closer, i'm getting more and more stressed.. i nid some confidence!! ahhh!! had 2 circuit tis week...

sunday's circuit was alrite.. juz tat i was rather tired and forgot the steps in parallel parking.. so much so that i knock a pole down.. argh!! purely my mistakes... shyt...
monday's circuit was abit better... the onli fault lies with my directional change tis time round... i either turn too late, or too early... aiyayaya...

hopefully, it juz get better...

ahhh... 7 more days.. i'm so nervous...

as usual, my moral is brought down by 2 of my friends again.. dun giv up gurls!!

expo work started ytd... yea.. i'm back at expo, nt full shift, though i missed it sooo muchh...

anyway, ytd was quite a long day.. was about to meet sharon for lunch before work but she called and cried... under the JPAE, she made it into a poly; RP... so well, nid to settle the big hole she created... den went out for a quick bite before heading down to expo.. dun worry sharon!! you're do well in poly.. meet you in uni bah!! =)

work at expo was kinda slack today.. no crowd... so was kinda slacking... veri far from those crowded experience i had, where the queue snakes to the other end of the hall.. =) so well, was slacking on-off, with occasional at the home delivery counter and the isolated counter... its kinda slack there either, though i'm covering 2 counters...

anyway, expo in charge was kinda screwed up today.. haha.. nw i know why no one wans to do expo.. but heck it.. treat her as a small fly? =x hahas...

driving is filling up my schedule.. two straight 7 30 lesson... one on sunday, another on monday... but well, i like the feeling of driving in the morning, going home to rest, den working onli at 3 30.. gives me time to slack.. and obviously enough rest...

well, these few days hav been enjoying myself before work starts.. mans, i really love the feeling of juz enjoying and nt working.. well, lets see wad i've covered so far..

manage to settle my craving for expensive food.. yea.. fish and co with my mum and younger sister at suntec on the second last day of work.. yea mans.. really love the food there...

yeap, i also went to satisfy my craving for mahjong.. played mahjong at liyan's place.. nt overnite though.. big family she hav.. a little paiseh to disturb their sleep.. especially when her sister share the same room.. had teppanyaki at her place.. love the idea of slowly cooking and eating.. but time allocated for mahjong is being affected.. so well, maybe nxt time bah...

also manage to spend some time with my primary sch friends!! piggy!! yea mans.. somehow or rather, i juz feel like we are siblings.. haha.. went to her place to hav dinner and chatted with her parents and sisters.. can really see their parents love for them, but i dunno why, i hav tis sense that they hav some siblings quarrel or something.. hahas.. i guess its normal for them.. but i see it, dun feel good.. hahas...

hahas.. i hav lots of driving lessons.. its 4 lesson tis week.. i guess nxt week will be 3 lessons.. i believe.. haha.. my instructor is kinda confident tat i can pass.. i dun dare put so much confident in myself.. but i know one thing for sure.. i'm hungry for my license!! RARR!! put it in front of me and i will snatch it.. ahh... i hoped i dun do careless mistake... please!! pray for me!!

worked so much and pay is slowly coming in.. yea.. S L O W L Y... my savings are running dry due to driving.. yawnss... i wished i can claim from my dad when i finish driving.. like tis i claim both side; from my uncle and from my dad.. yea!! i gt lots of spare cash in hand.. wahahas... haha.. i'm actually satisfied if dad gave me a second hand car.. i dun mind. hahas..

and yeap, today went to support KC's band concert.. haha.. nt bad for first timer.. haha.. i still do believe there are mani mani areas in which they can improve.. but since its their first performance, negative comments are being spared.. hahs..

tml will be another rest day.. roy is looking for people to work at PS atrium.. i cant seems to afford to go.. their rooster is nt in my favour.. and most of all, i simply hate working for outlets.. i still prefer expo!! hahas..

badminton day tml, and tuesday will be driving again.. i wanna book more lessonssss!! final stretch le.. i rather hav more lesson and pass my driving.. rather than to stinge, and later cant pass! X(

holidays plans are up... dropped vietnam cos the air ticket is killing me.. its like 350 to 400 in juz air tix and airport tax alone.. X( so well, nw i'm looking at redang!! all seems to be good!!

yea, 1 assignment down... yippee...

well, i was working for fab deals for the past 3 weeks.. its B, B and onli B... tiring it was.. at marina square, family care department.. toiletries and cosmectic and confectionary actually.. hahas... nice pple met... and yeap, so i am about 900 bucks richer...

and during tis period, i worked for debbie for 1 day too.. doing office boy work.. i miss working there actually... i dont mind.. hehex.. with the 3 hr people.. haha.. and yeap, i can proudly proclaim i am the youngest there.. haha... and yeap, i am about 50 bucks richer here...

and also during tis period, i worked for tyem.. its a company doing some workshop for sec sch students... went in 2 mondays to work.. okies la, the students are terrible.. haha... and thks jojo for tis job... and yeap, i'm about 130 bucks richer here...

there's another FIRE sales contract.. its C C C B B rooster.. i decided to giv it a miss.. so i wont be 213 bucks richer.. =(

yea, so mani money in.. i'm saving!! haha... all the output is in driving.. and onli driving.. i so wanna save for some holiday trip.. =)

expo is coming in like 1 week time.. i've decided to take onli the afternoon shift, leavin the morning for my driving lessons.. i wanna pass at first try.. wish me luck!!

and so, for this 1 week, i'm going to do wad i longed to do.. eat good food, go for mj session.. was thinking of going fishing, going ubin, going HSBC treetop walk, hav a game of badminton.. and all the rubbish... juz to enjoy.. but well.. i cant find the company!! ahh!!

so wads after expo?? u15 chalet.. den i was thinking for working for robinsons for another assignment... den i shall officially stop working.. hahas...

dilemma

argh!! i'm stuck in a dilemma... ahh... here it:

its 3 more weeks before my TP.. and well, time is running short.. excited? hell ya.. nervous? definately.. i wanna pass.. on the first time.. i dun wanna wait.. its like another 1.5 months.. argh!!

3 more weeks... and tats it.. i've been to circuit onli once.. i will be going another 2 times.. many of my friends who took it failed.. i dont wan to be in their shoes... and yet again, those who fails are taking from sch.. my instructor always tell me: "jus the other day, another person pass.. first time also.." tis giv me the determined mind to go and get it... ahhh.. but.. but.. i'm juz stuck in a dilemma..

1st week: no work, apart from jojo intro-ed job on monday.. other than tat, its okies.. i'm down on monday, tuesday, and thursday.. with tuesday and thursday on circuit...

2nd week: monday, tuesday, wednesday are off... so i guess i might be driving on these days... den its the begining of expo sales..

3rd week: monday and saturday off... and straight after tat.. the 14th, is my test date.. ahh!!

so the thing is... if i work double shift.. i'm nt sure if i will be able to survive.. if i work single shift, i can definately hav more driving lesson.. and perhaps more rest... go driving with a prepared body.. hahas...

but hell... everyone knows i really love working at expo.. you see.. its always full.. haiss... hw can i juz leave like tis...

yea, hav been slacking these few days.. its back to work tml!! whee~~

had driving lesson today.. i so love driving.. hahas.. gonna chiong driving.. instructor said though i didnt learn for so long, my skill is still there.. but personally, i find my u-turn kinda sucks.. yawns..

life's boring... if i were to blogged every single day, it will more or less juz be the same.. hahas.. no change!!

stop procasinating!! i could virtually hear these words flashing at the back of my head...

so i accomplished a few things today.. brought tah sa piah down to jojo place.. den went back.. had lunch at compass on the way back... den bought the yu sheng.. last day le... hahas.. i hav been eating yu sheng countless of times tis year.. from singapore eat till masia.. till back in singapore.. hahas... i can even eat twice in a day back in masia.. power!!

alrite, at least i did complete something... i manage to complete the scholarship of ntu... mans, i hate doing last minute things.. esp when everything dun fall smoothly... argh!! vicky was on sick leave and i couldnt get my letter.. thks to my ptn, who amazingly replied me juz when i was so pissed... mr henry khiat also did offer his help after i submit the document.. thks alot...

nw its waiting and waiting for the results... tat's april... and its 5 more days to the release of my final semester exam results.. i'm juz aiming for 2 distinction, out of 5 modules.. so humble!! hahas...

okies, so dates are coming out... faster fill up my calender before i die of boredom... ahh!! and my cousins when to cycling in masia!! so cool.. i also wan.. they cycle to the park can see duck, horses, ostrich... ahh.. i wanna go cycling in masia too... nxt trip bah!!

the wait was worth it.. the delay in reaching kuala lumpur was nothing compared to tis... its not a wrong decision to push back my masia trip.. the 5 bucks given to 5 star tour for changing the bus ticket up is nothing as compared to this...

as i was studying for my last paper, a call came... lecturer say i was shortlisted for the model student award.. asked me to go back to sch the nxt week on tuesday... for the model student award interview.. the catch is: if you cant make it, your name will be strike off... argh!!

i was rather down when i'm studying for my last paper.. the thought of spending 3 to 4 days less in KL is really pissing me off.. with nothing much getting into my head... you cant imagine hw mad i was... thks mum for calling 5 star tours countless of time, trying to be differet people, looking for different managers... juz to change my bus ticket... screw the sengkang branch for nt helping us... still the headquarter rawks!!

so well, mum open the letter box and there's this letter from SP for me.. on it, it reads:

yippee!! i was overjoyed!! no words can describe hw i feel nw.. X)

argh!! why is it so stressful here... singapore is really killing me... or shld i say doing nthing is killing me... hw i wish i was still in masia!! everyday will be so carefree!! hahas...

back in singapore, i am alone at home all days.. there are so mani things to do... juz the thought of it giv me headach and stress.. argh!! i juz wanna slack around.. walk around.. chat around.. doing nthing!! well, i wanna go for the HSBC tree top walk, go to bedok reserviour adventure, go for kayaking courses, go to sentosa, go catch a movie, go for a game of badminton, a game of tennis.. i wanna leave the house!! ahhh.. but when and where?? argh!!

the list of things just started to pile up...
- go back driving
- go apply for uni
- go look for jobs
- go pack my room

i'm almost done with the uni application.. i die die also must send out the documents tml.. its alr the 19th.. argh!!

to keep myself entertained, i shall either go back driving, or go look for a job.. job's waiting for me in middle march and early april.. after tat wads next?? slack again?? waiting for NS.. argh!!

i guess its the lifestyle here.. 3 years ago, around this time, i was enjoying.. after working for like a gd 1.5 months, i dont wanna work and wanna slack.. i rmbed we had chalet together and waited overnite together for the posting results.. anw, posting results will be made available tml.. gd luck everyone...

nw tat all projects and exams are over.. its the holidays... pple's mindset change.. some wan to work for money.. others wanna slack... some apply for uni, others dont know wad they wan.. for me, i so juz wanna slack.. but i dunno wad i wanna do.. i find myself bored.. i nid something to do.. everything in singapore is money and money.. so lets start work...

i reckon myself working like shiit.. earning money.. when money comes, so does enlistment letter.. wads nxt.. the dates of freedom starts to be numbered... shld we go overseas enjoy? or shld we juz catch up with friends... and before we know it, we have to report to tis tiny island...

training starts.. everytime, we're looking onli for the book out period.. and the countdown to the ord date... when we're out, its a few days of catching up.. den its back to study or work.. so lifeless!! argh!! welcome to the adulthood.. no more teenage or children carefree life...

chinese new year in masia!

yea, i spent this year's chinese new year in masia!! and i juz came back from masia.. it was a great 10 days in masia! i so dont wanna leave tat place... ahh!! i shall be back.. let me work for a few assignment first! =)

chinese new year in masia rawks!! hahas.. didnt went out for the first few days.. instead, mani relatives came over... eat and gamble was the main things we did.. haha.. i didnt gamble... so i juz sit around and enjoy the atmosphere.. the kids were terrible!! hahas... even went to visit some relative's new house.. nt bad!

went to auntie linda office to see lion dance.. the lion dance blessed the whole country club.. the whole place is so big tat when it comes to the finale, the "dancers" are already tired... hahas.. they shld have more manpower! hahas... den we went to have some sate (satay).. yeap, i tried the rabbit meat sate! not bad.. it taste more tender than chicken! hahas... went to walk at MINES and there is another lion dance performance.. more lively, possibly because its smaller "event"! hahas...

elder sister came a few days later... went shoppin with her.. we went klcc, petailing street, times square... she bought lots of stuff, and i bought none.. hahas... went up to little genting one nites.. quite a nice place to chill.. overlooking the KL city area.. totally nice!!

we went to catch a movie with uncle alex one nite... we watch CJ7 in dialect.. singapore's version is in chinese.. perhaps i shld watch it agains.. its nice.. hahas... steph had exam the nxt day and after her exams, we went to the curve to catch another movie.. tis time its meet the spartans.. hahas... 2 movies in 2 days.. nt as nice as CJ7.. hahas..

the nxt day, dylan drove us up to genting... before tat, we went to had bak ku tei!! yea, my favorite!! like it mans.. hahas.. den we went up to geting... we went to the cable car station and took the cable car up... walked around and slack at starbucks.. dylan, steph and elder sister went to the gamble.. leaving the good people at starbucks.. hahas... jieen and i didnt go cos we were merely underage.. haiss!! hahas...

bai tin gong was one of the big big event we're looking to.. hahas.. quite a big event.. with so mani people... playing illegal stuff!! hahas.. its firecracker and fireworks.. gd experience.. its ban in singapore.. so during chinese new year in masia, its a must to play.. hahas.. after tat we went to mamak.. they tried shisha or some liquid smoke or something.. hahas... i didnt try, cos i'm a gd boy.. hahas...

went for more shopping and mamak around the area the next day... we went sungei wang, jalan alor, to get some food stuff... we also went to 1 utama... all their shopping centres are so freaking big.. some of their clothes are cheap, but i still think that there are quite a number of things tat is equal in value or more expensive in price as compared to singapore.. i guess the nxt time its better to buy gifts from singapore.. i rather take the trouble to bring it up to masia...

on the last nite, we went to experience some nite life... went to clubbin at the KL city area.. didnt drink much as it was my first time to such nite life.. its juz for experience.. haha.. left the place at around 3, den went to mamak again... life in masia totally rawks!! its so pack.. its like the activities dun end till like 1~2am..

woke up in the morning and prepare to go back to singapore.. we're suppose to catch the afternoon train to singapore, reaching singapore at 9 40pm... had lunch... den waited for auntie linda to come back... took the lrt to KL Sentral.. cos ther was some protest in the city area and there's road block.. we almost miss our train cos we reach there like on the dot and there's a queue to collect the tickets.. luckily we manage to catch the train back...

i think train seems like a better transportation to masia!! but we must travel in groups.. though its longer, i will still consider taking the train again! nice!!

alrite, photos some other time.. i'm tired too.. hahas... i'm so wanna go back to masia again... at least once again before my national service!? hahas..

whee!! i'm a happy mans!! i juz worked a 1 day job.. and the pay is good mans!! its 9 bucks an hour.. for 9 hours.. i earned myself a total of 81 bucks today..

yea.. i worked for debbie lee.. john little HR, to marks and spenser HR to nw groupM HR.. cools mans.. her office is at temasek towers.. so i went to tahjong pagar today juz for tis 1 day work... job scope? archive filing.. cos they juz shifted office so yeap, juz to archive file those documents.. its so cool!!

and why do HR department always hav pretty girls!? hahas.. alrite la... at least maybe tats wad attract people to a company?? hahas.. so was helping cynthia chua with some filing... and mans, the HR office is hot and squeezy... but nvm, their pantry rawks totally... gt fruits, biscuits, soft drinks.. and even the mash potatoes from 7-11.. and imagine all these are free!! mans, great staff welfare...

manage to complete the archive filing for cynthia... hahas.. its her first time and she dunno anything.. so well, i'm like teaching her, cos i gt the instructions from another department.. hahas.. at the end of the day, some orange supplier called and said wan to increase the price of the orange which is to be delivered tml.. she gt so mad and shouted over the phone... but she maintain her coolness.. hahas.. tis kind of pple really rawks.. hahas...

overall , gd experience working.. so sad i couldnt go back to work tml cos of the interview..

so its back to sch tml.. interview plus submission of the fyp cd.. its still fyp.. argh!! can we juz finish it once and for all??

yippee... exams are over!! whee!! its time to enjoy!! hehex...

alrite, exam paper was not so good... basically all the section B questions were a giv away... onli the MCQ... but well, heck it... at least is over... an A for this module is expected.. nt distinction though.. hahas... and yea, there's 1 more thing to do... to touch up the final year project's report.. discussion with our supervisor and an A seems far from reachable..ah...

today is the first time our class went out together... hahas.. its the first, and hopefully, not our last time... more outing shld be coming ahead.. its the last time together, so as many as 12 of us came out... jc, med, zhi wei, seb, nigel, wai kiat, qifan, yee cheong, william, don, eliane, and me... ching hao came later... haha.. at least its more than 50% of the class...

so we went alot places and did alot things.. hahas.. after exams, we went to kallang leisure park for lunch, den ice skating... after tat we went to slack at tis store called pricemart.. den we took a bus to plaza sing.. walk around to the cathay ben and jerry.. slack for a gd time there... den we took a train to raffles place lao pa sa... had dinner there... den walked to china town... walked 1 round around chinatown to enjoy the chinese new year atmosphere... took some pictures like we were some overseas student here for some exchange program...

yeap, and by the time we reach home, its about 12 midnite.. helped irene finish installing her laptop drivers.. was too in the holiday mood.. did it slowly.. hahas... so i've backed up, reformated, installed drivers... its another round of installing drivers and den bringing back the backed up informations...

so i guess we should be having some class event together again...

yea, the muggin starts... tentatively, its almost 4 days to first paper and 11 days to the last paper... 3 more days in SP and yeap, i wont be going back to the poly.. maybe juz for graduations and also those "trainings" which i need to go juz for the graduation speech... they said they will email us the details... so well, its waiting and waiting...

lets see.. friday lab quiz was really a scary one.. personally i didnt prepare much for it.. i am juz a free loader over there.. hahas.. alrite, some questions are common sense.. but the more difficult questions i juz peep over at my friends paper.. wahahas... alrite.. nthing much on friday except the catch up...

went to tampines to meet mr ang kk, rena, hui kim, li zhu, yida, and joshua.. thks mr ang kk for the treat.. its a great time catching up with them.. hahas.. rena and li zhu are in engineering course!! yea, engineers rawks!! hahas.. but other than tat.. its those joking and catching up tat is fun.. i simply love hw mr ang kk can twist and turn and crap his way through.. haha.. its like endless of jokes and laughter with him.. serious moments are still there.. ultimately, its the company tat counts...

cab home with mr ang kk since he lives onli at sengkang.. and the rest have their house at tampines.. btw, tampines is such a nice place.. i love the nites at tampines where you can walk from tampines mrt station to anywhere... hahas.. the park are cooling with gd breeze... yea!!

saturday came and goes... hahas.. i spend most of my morning and afternoon started study a little.. rather slack.. went to eat sakae to clear the 20 bucks voucher before it expires... den back home and rest a little.. it was late nights at the airport.. as promise, i went to receive my mei.. hahas.. after tat was juz some gaming session with their grps of friends.. dun really know who are they exactly.. hahas.. but well we did manage to kill time and take the morning bus back home.. yea!!

whole of sunday was spent studying.. ELECTRICAL is almost done.. mostly is calculation.. i juz hope the theory bit i can scrape thr it.. wahhas...

well, lessons for tis week are cancelled.. thks to SP open house and spinnovex... my full 7 days a week are spent like tis...

monday - 1 hr make-up lesson, project briefing, moving in... didnt bring my laptop, tats why couldnt do much.. didnt troubleshoot the laptop connection problem... finished log book, itemisation form, and report...

tuesday - brought my laptop down... did some troubleshooting... manage to get it done.. thought of doing some flyer thing.. and printed... full load testing today...

wednesday - exhibition interview... after tat more or less slacking...

thursday - first open house day... opening ceremony.. lots of pple... distinction panel interview...

friday - second open house day.. industrial nite.. can close early... went to see the rest take napfa.. hahas...

saturday - last open house day.. closing ceremony.. free dinner... and yeap, prize is out.. we manage to get a silver.. same as the sp airport... darren and qi fan's project manage to get a gold..

so well, spinnovex is really a gd and memorable one... learnt alot from that.. its great tat the fyp ended with a decent and good ending... we manage to get the silver award... personally i onli like a small handfull of the project.. some projects are in fact, nt worth to be showcase...

anyway, thks for all those who came down to support... thks sokkee, irene, woeiling, nesh, ben ho, xiang yun and her twin sister, ranson and fellow classmate!! i believe many others came down too, but i cant rmb who.. thks everyone!! i've met so mani pple in this spinnovex... pple such as marcus(cca mate) with the fruity tang yuan, clemens(cousin) with his 20 minutes flash movie, kc(sec sch classmate) with his 6 minutes 3d animation, vincent(cca mate) with his mobile sudoku, sopfia(working pals) with her mobile game, and many many others... too many to rmb!!

yeap, i'm into 2008... it's isnt an easy 2008 for me...

it was 3 days sch... wednesday was a half day... onli studied for like 2 hrs.. thursday was spent doing the fyp interview presentation, and also catching up with peeps from tampines... friday was project interview.. somehow or rather, when the project interview is over, i feel kinda relax... but its 1 more week to wipe off FYP totally after the spinnovex exhibition...

wads demoralising was friday's lab quiz... i scored onli 75 out of 100.. damns!! so much for an open book test somemore! screw it!!

and i feel so damn no life.. leading life meaninglessly... was supposed to go for the NTU tour for top poly students.. but i missed it.. was suppose to be at jyss doing cca fair, but i missed it.. so much for working.. ahh!!

so catching up in tampines was great... after a short fyp discussion in TP, i went around tampines meeting pple...
- i met pin wen in TP.. secondary 2 friend of mine.. i think he's still as well-liked among his grps of friends...
- i met wendy to pass her the slide card... i had a great chat with her for close to 1 hr.. great pal!!
- i met ranson... mans, he's leading a carefree life nw... after o lvls.. and he's jokes keep me brightening up my day...

alrite, its the last few hours of 2007... while everyone is squeezing at vivo and city hall area jus to catch a glimpse of the firework, my whole family is at home watching from the comfort of our house... we don fancy squeezing with thousand over pple.. haha.. few years back, i gt some free tix to sentosa countdown party.. i gave it to my sis.. hahas.. i guess tats the onli countdown she went??

let's clear things before 2008... xmas was a boring one for me... i guess many of them were outside celebrating while i was working.. 25th till 30th... wad a package.. hahas... working at robinsons centrepoint cosmetic and toiletries department.. alrite la.. but i guess the manager was damn nice to me.. hehex.. thks for the off day for my lab test and my ns medical checkup..

2 sisters have gotten their xmas pressie from dad.. i guess i'm the onli one havent gotten anything.. anyway, younger sister gt a psp slim.. while elder sister gt a new handphone.. nokia n95... yea, the psp slim is gd at home.. i can use it at the same time.. wahahas... but i think a psp minus the slim will be a better deal.. hahas...

nxt is my ns medical checkup.. mans, i spend the good whole morning and afternoon burnt jus for the checkup.. all guys hav to go thr it... to serve the country.. everything is smooth... till it come to the medical.. hahas.. the MO keep sending me for further tests.. in the end, i was in PES E1L9, if i nv remember wrongly.. and the worst is the stupid online test.. waiting time long.. and doing the test also damn long.. i was doing and almost falling asleep.. i even took a short nap in between when they are showing some instructions.. hate it mans... boring!!

2007 is coming at an end... left with about a few hours.. quick complete the things which you've not done... lets enter 2008 on the right foot.. afterall, you onli leave once!!

here's the kl trip post.. let's get it done before the new year.. no pictures though.. too lazy to upload... alrite, i was in KL from the 21st to the 24th... yea!!

day 1

went to golden mile complex to take a bus down to KL... mum insist on a travel agent cos it was super peak, and accommodation was a major problem.. bus there was a double decker bus... bus did travel rather slowly.. manage to reach the federal hotel at around 3pm... haha.. i was expecting 1pm~2pm...

checked in... 1 of our rooms weren't ready.. the whole of 4th floor aircon was down.. terrible!! 2 sisters went to meet my elder's sister bf at sungei wang... went to search on hw to go to central market... den arrange meetup with auntie linda... all was done fast, decided to take a short nap as my elder sister is famous on nt arrive back on time...

cannot take the heat.. there wasnt aircon.. was about to leave the room when they came back! good good!! gt everything and went to the chinatown area.. petaling street.. went to nandos first.. introduced them tis place comparable to kenny roger.. they like it, esp my younger sister...

den went to shop around at petaling street... bought a pair of shoes together with my elder sister's bf.. elder sister bought shorts, while younger sister gt a pair of slippers, i guess.. den we went back to our hotel... slack a while and auntie linda called to say tat she was on her way...

we decide to go down to plaza low yat... so we went there.. all the IT stuff.. dad had a shop on the 3rd or 4th floor.. didnt wan to look for IT stuff, so we went to have XXL chicken at shihlin.. haha.. their XXL chicken is "served bone-in and uncut, just like in taiwan, so as to retain its original flavour and juiciness.." nt bad huh?? nw singapore is spoilt.. hahas...

den auntie linda came with her two daughter; pretty cousins.. haha... we went to jalan alor to eat.. they, being masian, yet dont know where jalan alor is.. haha.. so i brought them there.. haha.. singaporeans are better!! hahas... had dinner and called alot of food... hokkien mee, stingray, frog leg porridge, vege.. my cousin said food was good, but price is on the steeper side.. but wad the heck!! its normal to us in singapore! hahas...

went to tis adidas shop tat sells all the odd sizes clothings.. gt a size S shorts.. den went to secret recipe for supper.. hahas.. my cousins was saying we do have a huge appepite.. hahas.. after tat was back to hotel for an early rest!

day 2
today was suppose to wake up early to go down to sunway lagoon.. mans, elder sister was saying sunway is open at 10.. lets be there at 10... in the end, we woke up at 9... den had buffet breakfast at the hotel... did to pay extra 1 person.. so we said my younger sister was 12, when she's actually 14 onli.. hahas.. anyway, buffet breakfast wasnt great.. i still prefer the more budget one at bangkok, though nt buffet.. haha...

den we find our way to sunway... our target: subang jaya, via kl sentral.. i brought them to kl sentral.. and elder sister was guiding us to subang jaya... we manage to locate the right service.. but when elder sister asked for assistance to get onto the right train, we gt tricked.. we ended up at mid valley.. hahas.. so took a train back.. total time wasted: close to 40 minutes.. the train frequency there is 15 minutes.. *yawns*

reached subang jaya and we took a bus to sunway lagoon.. 1 person trip cost onli RM0.70.. tats less than SGD0.35... dirt cheap can.. singapore's bus ride die die also need SGD0.90.. wad rubbish!! reach sunway pyramid... make our way to the theme park... we wan the wet, the dry and the xtreme..

xtreme was a total crap.. waste of time.. haha.. wet and dry as alrite.. we went for xtreme.. wasted money.. its RM55 onli.. dun expect much.. hahas... sunway indeed did change alot.. its different from the last few times we went.. haha.. alrite bah.. once in a while its alrite... cousins says we might juz go up to genting during the CNY.. hehex...

so met with my mum and my cousins back at sunway pyramid.. we had desert first.. its ZEN; also by secret recipe.. wad nonsense.. haha.. den we went to shop around for a while.. elder sister wanna drop by the pet lover centre.. so walk around... den auntie linda brought us to tis buffet steamboat... its call summer steamboat or something.. it cost RM19.90 per person.. less than SGD10 for all the seafood steamboat... cousins says tat wads stands out is the BBQ options.. alrite bah.. singapore still need at least SGD12 for buffet steamboat at marina.. and nw its gones!! =(

after buffet dinner, went back to my cousin place.. played mahjong over there.. those 3 person play mahjong.. its totally different.. onli the ball series and there's even the joker tiles.. haha.. learnt something new... hehex.. den one of my cousin's bf came over... cos i wanted to hav a haircut in masia... he's a hair stylist.. so he offered to render his service.. so pai seh.. 12 30am in the morning, at my cousin place having a hair cut.. hahas.. my 2 sisters trimed their air.. den we went to mamak stall...

mamak stall was great.. its about the best place i like.. juz like jalan kayu over here.. it sells drinks and finger food.. so pple juz sit down, drink and eat.. and chat!! haha.. they say they can sit down for like hours... we had food and chated... den went back to their place... auntie linda send my 2 sisters and my mum back to the hotel.. i stayed over at their place for 1 nite!! =)

day 3
my cousin slept like pig!! haha.. okies, jus kidding.. they claim they need their beauty sleep.. perhaps why they're so pretty! hahas... so i skipped bak ku teh and we went for some ipoh kopitiam instead.. auntie linda wasnt feeling veri well.. food poisoning.. so my elder cousin drove!! hahas.. i'm still alive luckily.. haha.. went for lunch, den went back, and called a cab to mid valley.. they claim tat its hard to find parking there.. cab fare was juz merely RM10.. less than SGD5... and tat includes booking fees.. dirt cheap!!

was at mid valley till around 5 to 6.. we went to kim gary hongkong cafe.. drink, eat, and chat... hahas.. den auntie linda called and pick us up.. went to another relative place.. i think its auntie paulin's place... they hav lots of kids there.. haha.. there, we set off again to another seafood resturant.. hahas...

we had dinner there., it specialises in crabs... they ordered 4kg of salt egg crab.. lots and lots of crabs.. i dun eat crabs.. so well, didnt eat much... younger sister eat alot.. but i think their crab is smaller than singapore's.. haha.. as in nt singapore crab, but those sold in singapore...

was on our way home back to auntie paulin's place and we stop by to buy durians.. wasnt in season.. so was kinda expensive.. didnt know tat even buying durians need to nego alot de.. haha.. went back to their place and feast.. eat till full full and was deciding where to go at nite.. the options were either mamak again, movie, or mahjong! hahas..

ytd we were at steven's corner (mamak stall).. hence today, we went to murni's for yam cha session.. i told jaslyn about steven's corner.. her cousin told her william's better.. i told my cousins about william's... they said the price there is steeper, the place is smellier and dirtier cos of the nearby lokang.. so they recommend murni's... so well, anything la... hahas..

uncle michelle sent us back to auntie linda place.. there, steph's bf, dilon, the hairstylist, joint us... hahas... we went to murni.. the drinks there looks nicer.. haha.. the things they sell there seems to be more in variety.. so well, we feast there and they sent us back to our hotel.. thks alot for these few days.. esp to steph and her bf.. thks for the haircut and the company!!

day 4
today was the last day.. as expected, everyone was tired.. so we woke up late.. pack up and checked out.. skipped the terrible buffet breakfast.. we went to sungei wang for nandos.. younger sister say its a must before we leave again.. hahas.. den we went for some last minute shopping... didnt get anything.. younger sister gt herself ouram high sch original VCD, or dunno wad japanese anime la.. haha.. den we went to get tau sa pia.. haha.. den it was waiting at lobby for transport back to singapore...

tis time the bus was a single decker.. and the bus trip was faster.. we departed at around 3 40, around 4.. and we arrive in singapore at 8.. cools!! hahas... we did stop at yong peng!! had food.. for the return trip, i sure dare to eat their food.. i dun wanna get a tummy ach at the begining of the holidays you see.. hahas...

so reached back singapore.. took a cab back home...

o.0 ya.. jaslyn was in masia on the 23rd.. we tried to arrange a meet up, but cant.. i also wanted to extend my stay.. but i'm working on the 25th you see.. =( tats saddening!!

nvm, i shall be back in masia after my exams.. last paper will be on the 1st feb!! ahh!!

fancy spending xmas working at a shopping mall; packed and squeezed with the rest of those crazy shoppers.. i cant imagine why would pple wan to spend such a wonderful day squeezing in juz to buy products which is on offer... some are even old stock and not say very cheap..

alrite, work as so-so... it was terrible ytd, but nt so bad today... was supposed to work tml but took a day off because of some medical checkup... yea, the government is calling me... i will nw spend 1 day of time time at cmpb... juz for a medical checkup.. shall see my pes! hahas...

yea, i need to rest.. i know.. but fyp report is juz due tml.. and we are like onli 60% done.. chiong ah.. dun care!! hahas...

xmas is boring tis year.. haha.. my 2 sister have gotten their xmas pressie... i still havent open my 2 xmas pressie.. haha.. too tired to do anything...

back from masia!

yea mans... i'm back from masia! it was a damn wonderful trip.. with my relative; my aunt, my uncle, and my pretty cousins, though i dunno hw the rest are actually related.. =X

tis trip is indeed the best trip ever to masia.. i'll be back for more after 1 month.. let me complete my semester exams first... haha.. i will return for a longer stay... more about the trip another day... some interesting things we seen during tis trip...

- bus trips vary alot.. we took 7 hours to reach there, and only about 4.5 hours to come back.. there's a 2.5 hours difference!
- things bus driver did to cool down the tires of the bus.. airing the wells, and allowing more air to enter the engine of the bus..
- petrol is dirt cheap there.. RM270 for 170 litres.. tats less than SGD1 per litre..
- drive through mac is available in some petrol kiosk.. image smelling petrol while waiting for food..
- the amount of satelite dishes sticking out of a building just to receive the astro channels.. nw you thks singapore government for building the cables underground to our house..
- even the oldest prison can be turn to a museum..
- public toilet limits 5 minutes per use.. afterwhich, the door will automatically unlock regardless if you're done..
- there's actually a shop which sells coffin.. perhaps they do hav it in singapore; but i never seen it before..
- masian dun bother about sharing when we order free-flow of drinks.. 2 free flow drinks can be shared among 5.. singapore is damn strict on sharing of food..
- hair dye needs to be halal too!!
- 1 company can set up mani stores in china town.. and they use a walkie system to communicate and send runners to collect stocks which we need..
- super crowded at monorail stations during peak hours.. everywhere is jam... roads are also jammed with cars.. similar to singapore...
- there's such thing as XXL chupa chups which is about 4 times the smaller ones.. it comes with some bubble gum toos...
- singing christmas carols outside shopping centre is normal, and sometimes, pple will join in and sing with you...
- the message stores runs 24 hrs, asking everyone who walk pass if they wan one...
- cars can travel along the walkway meant for passengers just to avoid the traffic jams along the roadside..
- shilin XXL chicken is actually served bone-in and uncut.. singapore's version is cut, without bone.. are we spoilt?
- it takes onli guts to cross the road in malaysia.. you dont need any pedestrain crossing rights...
- whole level of hotel's aircon can be out-of-service..
- shopping is practially everywhere, and anywhere.. apart from streetside store, my hotel is located near many other shopping centres... bb plaza, low yat, lot 10, pavilion, sungei wang...
- most shopping centre consist of high end boutiques onli...
- any random shopping centre is much bigger compared to singapore's..
- amazingly, my cousins know these shopping centre inside out... i always get lost, while they can memorise even mid valley as if its their home...
- even masian can tell us the wrong direction about their train system.. alrite bah, maybe there's miscommunication.. =\
- waiting time for a train which bring you to the outskit of KL can be as long as 20 minutes.. and dun trust the timetable.. they're never accurate.. X(
- 1 bus trip will cost you onli RM.70, which is less than SGD.35.. nw a bus trip in singapore die die cheapest also SGD.90...
- tourist knows hw to start a small chat with you just to jump queue and get tickets earlier..
- adventure in sunway is totally crap.. paintball has no fun, so does their ATV... nt even travelling on terrain.. i'm going for australia's ATV for sure..
- priviledges are given for motorcyclist.. motorcycle has their own lanes and their special motorcycle carpark..
- there's such thing as "Friendster" cafe in malaysia..
- buffet steamboat cost onli RM19.80.. which is less than SGD10.. it has choice of soup, BBQ, seafood, free flow of drinks, air con and even ice cream..
- masian mahjong is something new to me... 3 pple play.. onli 1 suit; the balls... and there is tis thing call the joker tiles.. haha.. game ends quickly, like 2 minutes.. and it requires lots of thinking and manuplation...
- mama store is a place to eat prata and chill with drinks like ice teh... in singapore, mama store is a small provision shop tat sells grocery under the void deck..
- yam cha is a daily routine, which usually starts at 11 and ends at 1... nice 2 hrs session.. we had ours from 1 to 3.. =X
- masian are multi-lingual.. they know malay, chinese, and dialect.. nw hws tat.. singapore knows onli singlish.. damns!!
- minimum car per household is 3... there are pple wuth 5.. WTF?? 1 car's coe is enuff to kill us in singapore... my aunt have 2.. =S
- driving to college is normal.. my cousin is doing it!! i wanna drive to poly too.. =(
- 8 pple squeezing in a 5-seater car is possible.. well, at least we did it...
- driving against the traffic rules is normal...
- reversing is the better option when you miss your turn, regardless if its allowed..
- singapore keep dogs in bungalows.. maisan keep goats... well, at least we saw one.. haha..
- its better to know your neighbour well.. even their telephone numbers.. my cousins hav telephone numbers of beside uncle and opposite auntie..
- its the practice to leave the television on when you leave home to fake tat someone is at home.. a dog is nt good enough to guard the house...
- lottery do consist of 3 digit onli.. instead of singapore's 4D.. and they have 3 draws on sunday!! singapore onli one...
- cutting of coconut in the supermarket is so facinating.. even to my maisan cousins.. haha...
- there's priority lane in the supermarket.. its for the handicap, pregnant, and the elderly... but no one bothers actually.. my sister paid thr tat counter... ahas..
- there's so much to talk about when buying durians from a street side store... its 18 bucks per kilo during non-season.. according to my uncle, its 2 bucks per kilo during season... spoilt market..
- kids, being kids, love to provoke teenages when they're bored.. when we wan to react and play with them, they run away and scream.. make me feel like we are some animals.. =S
- parking is even allowed in front of a "no parking" sign...
- part time job for students is RM4.5 per hour.. its merely 2 bucks.. macdonalds in singapore pay better.. somehow i think my relative who work in singapore is smart.. earn SGD, spent RM.. =)
- YTL is a bullet train company which will bring pple from singapore to KL in jus 45 minutes.. it will be done in 2010, together with singapore's integrated resort... nw hw cool is it?? its faster than the plane; considering check in, check out, and travelling.. lets juz hope its cheap.. my uncle is working for tat company.. =D

well, its 2 hrs before i'm off to masia.. whee~~ yea, mans... its backpackin to masia.. and i just finish clearing up the place.. onto packing my things for the trip.. haha.. packing 2 hrs before the leaving.. nt bad.. hahas...

alrite, been busy with the final year project report.. hahas... i thought it was the holidays?? final year students are nt spared!! damns.. hahas... dun miss me much okies?? i'll be going off till 24th... sister must be back to work.. so well, at least i will be in singapore during xmas.. hahas.. still gt a class xmas party to go to.. hahas.. and i'm juz hoping i can get the robinsons work!! hahas...

alrite, thks alot to those who send in xmas card.. esp to mei!! thks alot.. all the way from the other side of the world.. yea.. i tried making an pop up xmas card.. tried once, but failed... manage to do one.. using the 165g/m^2 paper.. damns.. i spend the whole evening till nite doing.. from 6pm till 11pm.. hahas.. alrite, but it looks nice.. everything from paper.. cool!! hahas...

cant believe it.. i was tat hardworkin to go back to school today.. partly because ben ho conned me and ask me to go down and help him zhng his circuit board... i wasnt too sure wad was it all about at first.. and at the same time, its another session of badminton...

so i head down to sch at my own pace.. hw mani times can we go down to sch with no time factor to reach sch?? hahas... met nan ju at NEL.. he said i grew taller already... alrite, its the second time i hear from someone tat i did grow taller... first was from sokkee on friday... so well, did i grow taller?? i hope so.. hahas... reached sch and went to find nesh...

chey~~ it was actually the melody box.. so stayed at his lap to see them do some shit soldering stuff.. haha.. i graduate from that already... its so lame!! haha.. in the real world, all is machine solder... why get us to do it in poly?? yea, hands-on skills and some shit... hahas... den went for lunch at FC4 and back to playing badminton!!

and yea, i do realise now i need shuttlecocks!! haha.. going to go down masia to see if i can buy those second hand competition shuttlecocks.. hahas.. teng say she can help me get some... i do really need it!! hahas... anyway, played several matches with the SP staff.. haha.. totally gt trashed.. our target was jus to reach a two-digit score... so well, the score was: 9 - 21, 6 - 15, 5 - 15.. damns, they are pro... haha.. and we didnt manage to get the two-digit score.. aiya, we were tired.. hahas... we hav been playing since 3, and they jus start at 5.. haha.. left the hall at 6..

so back at home... doing some diy stuff.. alrite, the card wasnt tat successful.. trying the box tomorrow.. anyway, its 2 more days to masia... and i'm still havent prepare yet.. mani things to do tml.. after driving, gonna run some errands.. hahas.. and and and.. i still must pack my place before i go masia.. hahas...

alrite, these few days was rather busy.. busy with mani things!!

top of the list was the PSC scholarship interview.. damns, i guess i screw up the interview.. anyway, seriously speaking, i dun think i'm interested in the scholarship.. i can lie my way thr and speak those things which they wan to hear.. but den again.. at the end of the day, if its not wad i wan, do you think its worth the 6 years bond? nvm, i guess its better i nt lie.. i have integrity!! andyway, its over! =\

cessna visit on tuesday was great.. alrite, i must admit the aircraft is really in shitty condition.. i guess you can get a few students to do their attachment there and get the aircraft at least in good condition.. haha... the aircraft is quite small.. so well, walked around and intro to my classmate some functions of it.. it bring backs youth flying club memories.. =D i really miss flying..

went for xmas shopping on thursday... saw the crumpler bagpack... it was like 20L or 25L.. the price difference is onli 20 bucks.. i really dunno which one i shld get.. perhaps i shld go down and see again some day.. hahas... really dunno mans... its nt necessary for me to get the limited edition one though...

driving was alrite.. instructor came to my place and i drove to ubi.. nt bad.. quite fun.. i guess instructor was satisified with my routes.. he told me to see if i can get an earlier time slot of my TP.. he will teach parking circuit and everything in 1 month, and i'm good to go.. =) nxt driving lesson is on wednesday.. he'll come down again..

catch up with several of my ex-classmate.. its great catching up... =) chatted with wendy.. wad a great friend.. haha... alrite bah.. started asking things about JC.. i guess i'm nt sure wad makes me choose poly over JC at tat point of time.. haha.. was it because i wan more on hands on experience?? or was i really tired of studying?? i cant rmb!! anyway, i learnt tat she will be working at robinsons centrepoint.. i might be there too.. she is learning driving and loves trekking.. she's currently working at the airport... nt bad!! hehex..

alrite, first xmas celebration was over.. it was with U15 peeps at isa place.. BBQ part in conjunction with the december babies.. ntt bad!! =) to start with, isa house is a nice condo.. hahas.. its a place where everyone learn to live while keeping an eye close.. tis is wad neighbours shld be... and the condo itself is great la.. lift serve up to the door.. different concept tat comes with several pros and cons.. =\

alrite, so we have BBQ and later we went up to isa house.. took a bath and the cold water was shiok.. somehow its like well water.. haha.. or was i too sticky?? hahas.. reformated irene laptop and went to play mahjong.. luck wasnt at my side... finish mahjong at around 6 to 7am.. del went home and i went back to irene laptop.. did till 9 30 before i proof to lalaland.. slept till like 12nn before i wake up..

had mac for lunch, den went to laze around.. slowly they left leaving me, wl and lt.. so well, we played mahjong again before calling it a day at 8pm.. cabbed home.. somehow i sense something was tense.. haha.. i thought li teng was worried going home late.. haha. had dinner downstairs and den was lazing around...

alrite, holidays have arrived... but i guess it equates to no holiday.. i gt another like 4 days to do the report before i'm leaving for overseas.. i've yet to receive their individual report.. i guess i hav to chase them tml.. =S

PSC Scholarship Interview

alrite, i'm having a PSC Scholarship Interview tomorrow.. and guess wad.. i'm so nervous.. i gt a feeling i wont get tis scholarship.. or shld i say i dun deserve it.. i dunno.. PSC Scholarship has a bond.. need to come back to serve the civil service community.. ahh!! tats totally out of my dream!! but the overseas scholarship is so tempting!!

wadeva it is.. i guess i juz hav to giv it my best shot.. i've already done some research.. i dun wanna do more homework.. its okies if i dun get it.. i believe its nt critical.. let it be fate bah... hahas... 5 days till i know the results.. but i juz guess better opportunity shld be given to pple who hav the passion to sever the civil community... hahas.. may the most suitable pple get the scholarship...

back to wad i wanna blog about today... christmas is coming.. its the joy of giving!! more celebrations!! earlier, dad msg us wad do we want for xmas.. well, i really hav no idea..

elder sister wans a new handphone.. a nokia e61i... the slim, but FAT, PDA-like device.. haha.. i told her its no difference from her current one.. she said it works on a different operating system.. i thought she shldnt hav gt an O2 in the first place.. hahas... but i guess its a good choice for her since her O2 is giving her problems..

younger sister doesnt know wad she wans to get.. she thought of a PSP.. but well, i dunno if she really wans it.. or is it the 3 minute thingy.. haha... tat means more dling of games to her PSP.. but well, if its a 3 minute thing, it means i can get to use it too!! =)

for me, i really dun know wad shld i get.. haha.. i'm content with wad i hav nw currently.. or shld i say i dunno wad shld i get.. haha... am i too stressed?? i guess so.. i think i hav nthing to pursue in life.. no wans!! ahh.. help me...

handphone - it came to my mind.. but shld i really get a new handphone?? i dun think so... in fact, my current phone is working well, giving me little/no problems... moreover, singapore is calling me soons.. i shldnt invest on something which i cannot use for like 2 years... so well, i suggest sticking with it...

desktop - technology is always advancing... my desktop at home is nw at mid range.. shld i get a new desktop.. i dun think so either.. its the fyp period, no time to setup and maintain the desktop... as long as my current one can last me over the fyp period, i'm satisfied.. afterall, i was thinking of changing a new desktop after NS.. looking ahead, it would be quad core instead of the current dual one..

graphic cards - well, definately i wanted a graphic card to at least play a descent game.. but i dont hav any time for games... so well, we'll but tis on hold till end of jan.. and its the holidays.. i guess i will spend more time outside than at home.. so it doesnt justify the graphic card.. save the money to invest on one after my NS... together with my new comp...

laptop - definately a nono for me, at the very moment.. i dun really like laptop.. performance-wise, it cant beat the desktop... price-wise, it can never beat the desktop too.. so well, as i dun really need a laptop nw, i guess its strictly a nono.. perhaps a few years down the road, where my lifestyle change...

console - any console for me? i guess i'm nt the console guy.. moreover, console games are expensive.. hahas.. leaving console out...

crumpler - so well, i thought of tis.. yea, a new crumpler bag.. and tis time i meant a BAG.. double sling.. it seems gd and idea.. but i havent gt the time to go down and check out the model which i like! hahas.. dad say okies, so i shall go down one day.. but tats provided i hav something which i like.. afterall, its my 4th crumpler bag already.. =X my third one was the limited edition one.. =\ but afterall, i guess i will be seeing my new crumpler before the new year..

well, there are of cos things which i know it can never be achieved.. hahas... like:

holiday - yea, i really like a week or two vacation to somewhere outside asia?? hhaha.. i wan to ride 4WD at australia.. i wan to lead a simple lifestyle somewhere outside asia.. i guess its so ironic.. pple are coming to singapore to stay, and yet we wan to leave singapore to lead a lifestyle.. its so real... even till today, singaporeans are going to masia to buy things cheaper.. on the other hand, there are masian who comes to singapore to buy things too.. hw ironic.. i guess tis is hw life is...

scholarship - somehow, i would like to get some scholarship and get highly recognised of.. haha.. dreaming, but walt disney says: "all our dream can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.." so well, do i hav the courage then??

job - i really wanna sign a bond to get me a commercial pilot training job!! hw nice!! hahas.. and i can fly for the rest of my life.. =) and to see the world.. haha.. yet another big dream...

singapore is really a small island.. i must really emphasize.. hahas.. juz a few days back, i blog about meeting some peeps around singapore, which is totally unplanned for.. and the list goes on...

- was at changi airport terminal 2 the other day when i forgot to bring my keys back home whilst waiting for my younger sister to go back home from her school.. and yeap, i met with marianne freeman there.. hahas.. secondary 2 mixed-blood friend.. =) love her companies...

- was on the train to city hall from dover for dinner.. and i met with khiam cheong.. mans, my secondary 3 and 4 classmate.. i miss him too!! hahas.. currently, he's down with attachment at some IT company.. pity he is partially colour blind.. else we will be in the same class.. but nevertheless, he's happy with his current course of studies.. =) i will always rmb and laugh at wad the doctor told him... he argued tat he can differentiate colours.. but the doctor told him.. your perspective of colour is different from the rest.. wow.. so interesting.. hahas...

- was at city hall having dinner when i saw phui yuan and hui min.. hahas.. secondary 1 classmate.. burdden they didnt recognise me.. oww~~

- was leaving city hall when i saw adarin pang? damns, i dunno his name.. DOND host la.. hahas.. when he walk past, many passer by stop and turn back and we start a small chat to confirm if its him.. i guess its difficult to be in the media industry.. everywhere you go, you'll see people staring at you...

alrite, i believe the list will go on.. i happened to wondered into wendy's blog when i realise she did went for robinsons interview and did manage to get the job.. i'm juz waiting for HR consideration cos of my medical checkup and a paper on friday.. if all goes well, i believe i will be seeing her at robinsons CP... so well, i juz love to see pple we know on the street somewhere.. hahas...

on a happier note, we so happen to have lunch at FC4, where our supervisor was also having hers on the neighbouring table.. we discuss our project over lunch.. and seems like its possible for us to hav the interview after the holidays.. yea!! hahas.. so we are a week behind the rest.. but well, lets not be too complacenent... we still need to rush our report.. 2 weeks is also not alot of time!! hahas...

alrite, school is ending in about less than 2 months times.. i guess i will miss SP.. haha.. i shall recall back all my memories since year 1.. perhaps i shld spent some time during the holidays doing it.. i'm missing everyone.. from friends, to lecturers and even technical service officers... =(

on a sadder note, victor, or current aerospace electronics lab tso is leaving SP soons.. he gt less than a month left in SP.. he cleared his leaves, took his 2 month bonus, and will be leaving SP.. he will become the safety officer for the shopping centre project opposite centrepoint.. all the best to him! and lets enjoy the days he's left in singapore poly... =S

how true can the above sentences be.. thumbs up, claps claps... its so damn true.. so much so that i've started catching up with people in msn, and sms.. from ex schoolmates to ex classmates, cca-mates and even jobsmates.. its a great time catching up with them!! its kinda good when you know that they didnt forget you.. and i believe they feel equally gd when they know tat they are not forgotten..

so well, i'm so gonna delecated at least 2 weekends per month juz dropping by in msn, or perhaps somewhere around the neighbourhood, to grab a kopi-session; drinks not provided though... hahas... its nt much.. juz at most a fortnightly event.. hahas...

on a shitter note!! i'm in deep shit now... no one can be more screwed up than us.. yea, US... we 3 are the most screwed up person in SP.. the stage is set.. we are in the midst of self-killing ourselves.. heres the stage:

holiday is in a week time.. its 2 week holidays where there are much tidying up of fyp, preparation for interview, submission of report, briefing for moving in of exhibition... well, time is short, but is sufficient of us to do intensive chiong-ing.. so well, tat seems great, with nothing much to complain...

the complication juz simply start heres... supervisor is going overseas during the holiday for some training i believe.. i beg to differ other reasons... so well, tis means we cant submit our report during the holidays.. our project interview, which is supposely to be during the holidays, cant take place without her too... so well, its either before or after the holidays... after the holiday is strike off, due to the fact of the project exhibition...

so well, it is before the holidays, which means nxt week... can it be shiiter than that?? of cos... 1 week, 7 days.. lets not count the weekends.. we have monday till friday... wad happen nw is tis!! she'll be on course from wednesday to friday... tat leave us with monday and tuesday..

alrite, so more or less, the grave is dug.. i can imagine 2 cases...
CASE 1: monday.. lecturer call in the morning... can you come down to my office at 5pm.. there is a project interview nw... please rmb to at least get some powerpoint slides done...

singapore is indeed a small island...

- was at toa payoh interchange one day and i met with alfred... nice guy, who was my senior at expo... went to taiwan and came back some time ago... nice catching up...

- was at sitex on the first day where i met joshua.. classmate during sec schools.. he went to aust to pursue his degree using his prelims results, while the rest mug for their Os.. he's back in singapore till feb nxt year..

- was at sitex where dyane was workin.. didnt expect her to work!! she's working for WoWtv, and its her first job after her Os, i think.. all the best for her Os..

- was at expo again, this time for JL, where i saw my ex-classmate.. yida and yuxiang... met up with felicia and paulin too.. saw trixie, who was my ex-schoolmate... nt classmate though.. hahas... expo brings pple together??

- was at changi airport terminal 3's open house where i saw my materal relatives... quite a big family relationship.. materal cousin's maternal relative... haha.. long and complicating.. saw my uncle, auntie, cousin, grandparents... my cousin grew up fast... but she's still shy.. hahas..

- was at chloe's birthday party chalet, where i met my cousin on the free shutter bus... hahas.. didn't catch up much, but there's a gathering on the 28 of dec anyway.. =)

- was taking a bus back home from pasir ris mrt station where i met yijia and her bf.. was on the bus quite long and onli after some time did she spot me.. hahas.. guess she's going to her bf's place...

on a heavier note!! nxt week is the last week of sch.. damn pack week.. there's lots of things to do.. tis is to compensate for the upcoming holidays.. to date, it shall stands:
- 1 lab test
- 1 report
- 1 interview
damns.. its the FYP report and interview.. yawns!! but all for the good cause of a better holiday..

mans, the figures are killing.. hahas.. slowly, but steadily, we will kill them one by one...

last week was kinda busy.. i get to meet my long lost friend.. hahas.. JOSH is back from australia!! whee~~ hahas.. SITEX was last week too.. wanted to get a graphics card, but didnt.. gt myself a DVR instead.. hahas.. record, store, playback.. act as a harddisk too...

Standard Chartered Marathon was last weekend... 80 metres of drinks table to mend.. hectic.. busy.. tired.. and most importantly, fun!! hahas.. nthing much happening.. it juz make it my day when the runner run pass and though they have a common mission to complete the race, they still have the time to thk us.. we cheer them on too... and the wheelchair race was also touching.. mans, i salute them..

was tired after the race.. hahas.. so i slept the whole day.. ahh!! and yeap, many opportunities are knocking on my door... first, it was the graduation speech.. den it was PSC scholarship... and nw, its the model student award.. yea mans.. lots of things to do.. i must openly thank sokkee for helping me in editting the short write up.. thks a million... mans, i love my friends around me... burden i hav to trouble her again.. =X

alrite, and nw, its the most irritating part of the week again.. its CSW CA2.. business correspondent.. its 50%.. argh!! kill me.. i wan to do well for tis paper.. mans, its killing me.. haha.. i hope i can do well for this paper ah.. its time to study for the paper.. =X

anyway, results are fully out.. overall, okok results.. dun intent to aim for distinction... Aces will do..

alrite, 2 days back to sch.. nthing much.. lesson carry on as normal.. kinda slow paced... even final year project is slow pace... haha..

2 out of the 3 results are out... alrite, i wont say its bad results.. perhaps jus not too good.. i scored 86 for ELECTRICAL (70 for MCQ, 16 for SAQ), and 83 for INSTRUMENT.. left the radio.. nt sure if i can ever hit the "9" digit.. argh... at the same time, i nt sure i can hit the "Dist"... but nevertheless, frankly speaking, i'll be satisfied with the "A".. or well, i will force myself to be satisified with it... hahas...

alrite, spent most of my weekend resting... saturday was pure resting.. went out to catch a movie.. the bee movie.. childish show.. hahas... sunday was elder sister birthday.. had dinner at the soup resturant.. nt tat bad.. den dessert at swenses.. hahas... all with my grandmother at the airport.. whee~~

and i cant believe its back to work nxt week... argh!! hahahas... its lots of reports to rest.. final year project... lab test!! argh!! but nevertheless, there's lots of things to do for these 3 weeks before the holidays come knocking on my door!!

yea, today marks the end of MST paper!! woots, ELECTRICAL down.. and i guess this is the worst paper i done so far... for some damn reason, i'm not good in MCQs.. I'M NEVER GOOD IN THEM!! i always tends to get marks which is neither perfect, nor close-to-perfect!! argh!! i wanna cry!! and worst thing is my short answer qn's, there's a careless mistake.. argh!! hate myself...

tats so much for MST.. its friday tml.. no papers = no sch!! tats why i love SEEE.. hahas.. so well, tml will be going down to TP.. for some FYP poster design some shiit.. argh!! den later going driving.. den meeting mum somewhere for dinner.. nwadays gt craving for good food.. hahas... when i'm stressed, i eat.. =X hahas.. elder sister's birthday is coming sunday.. which is another reason for good food.. =X

INSTRUMENT down~~ yea.. i so wan to make do with this paper... YAY!!

alrite, so i went to sch early to drop by my aerospace lab where likai had left past year mst paper!! yays!! thks alot dude... and happy struggling with 5 papers.. =X evil i am... =S

so paper today was easy? haha... out of 10, it onli reach like 3 in terms of difficultiness.. hahas.. i thought there will be more memorising work, more explaination answers... but nope, it was kept to the minimum... tricky paper.. there was some trick questions here and there.. i think i gt tricked in one question.. but heck it... its over... hahas.. its like a big huddle for me.. =D

so tml's the last paper.. is it a breeze?? its 40 MCQ and 2 short answer question!! is it like wad mr liew always say, "a walk in the park, a swim in the pond"?? i hope so.. i had no or shld i say little intention to study! argh~~ juz help me pull through this last paper!! thks!!

RADIO was down today... haha.. rather easy paper... nothing much to expect.. could secure a full marks paper again.. damns... i forgot cellular phone was under ULTRA high frequency.. i wrote high frequency.. damns.. nw you know why using handphone can kill!! AH!!

alrite, so tml is instrument paper.. rather ironic.. i dread as the time ticks, but i wan to quickly make do with the paper.. perhaps its because the last paper is 40MCQ.. wahahas...

anyway, tml paper is killer.. the toughest paper to expect, in my humble opinion... chapter 1 to 5... minimum calculation.. i dun see any calculation qns.. all theory.. except for the give away.. the one in converting units.. and its onli 12 marks.. damns!!
